hpv treatment?
ive had common warts for a while and have tried everything. my best friend just got the treatment against hpv cervical cancer. my question is 'If my hand warts are a case of hpv, will the vacine make the virus dissipear?' Thanks any help is appreciatedswimgal232 on 2006-09-04

NO if anything it will only serve to suppress. WHich only makes the situation worse in the end. For best results long term work wit a homeopath in person.

The HPV vaccine is not a treatment. It is a 'preventative' vaccine. If it works (notice I said if), it would prevent you from getting HPV. Once you have it, the vaccine won't work.
I don't believe the vaccine is a good choice either as it does nothing to prevent other STD's, not to mention AIDS. People receiving the vaccine will falsely think they are safe.
As for your warts. It would be best to consult a homeopath who can treat you as this is a long standing, chronic issue.
Thuja is a common remedy for warts but it should not be taken for a long time and it should be taken cautiously. Do not take it for longer than a week at a time. You can try one week on, one week off for a few months. If no result, then contact a professional.

this might sound a little nuts, but studies have shown that duct tape works better than cryotherapy for ridding ones self from hpv (genital warts) and other common forms of warts.
of course you can't very well put a little bit of tape on your cervix, but you sure can everywhere else on the body.
just cut a small piece of tape to cover the affected area, and leave it on for 6 days. then soak the warts in hot water and use an emery board to disturb the wart, giving it a little rub down, then more duct tape for another course of treatment.
this really works and is actually a peer reviewed study from the american academy of physicians
