I have used Colocynthis 200 in the wet dose successfully in the case of patients whose sciatica did not originate as a result of an accident injury. However it may just work to help your dad and this is how you make the wet dose.

Get a 500ml bottle of spring water and insert 3 pellets or 2 drops if you get the remedy in ethanol into the bottle. Shake the bottle hard and give him just 1 teaspoonful after shaking it every time, twice daily.

You can also give him Arnica 30c also in the wet dose make as above.

His pain can be helped by Hypericum 200 also in the wet dose taken every 4 hours.

All remedies to be taken an hour apart.

Please report response in a week.

YOU HAD GIVEN A SIMILAR REPLY TO ANOTHER POSTING FOR CTS WHICH IS WHAT I AM SUFFERING FROM AND LOOKING FOR A REMEDY:

Re: Suffering from Carpal tunnel.... From horsetrainer on 2006-04-12
John,
Thank you for the remedies for Carpal tunnell. It has worked. I have been suffering for years. All I have is only finger tip tingling.I can live with this !! I do wear the wrist support braces at night after strenuous work. Again thank you.

This is just to clarify your post.

I note that you have addressed it to 'John' and would like to know if you referrerd to me or to some other. (John Stanton ?)

If you have used the 2 remedies I prescribed, I am glad that that they have worked.

I can also suggest another remedy, Arnica 6c, which will also help you as this will improve the blood supply throughout your body. This will help in the long run and restore the damage that has caused the pain in your elbow for some years.

WOULD THE SAME REMEDY APPLY TO ME?
MY SYMPTOMS ARE:

- I gave birth 3 weeks ago and am now suffering from Carpal tunnel:
- 1 week before the delivery I started to feel slight tingling in the right hand at night only
- Right after the baby was born (and still in the delivery room)the 4 fingers were numb & tingling and the pain started up to the elbow. Note that I had an epidural and was told that it would all go away after a couple of weeks as it was probably due to the fluid injected during the epidural.
- Now 3 weeks later it is still the same (altough the pain has gone because I were a splint I believe) the numbness & tingling is day and night and the left hand has started as well...which make it worse to take care of a baby!!

THANK YOU.
