the effects of smoking

I also wanted to ask if smoking interferes with the homeopathic therapy. I used to smoke 15-20 cigaretes per day, and after I started the treatment I smoke about 5. But some times I reach the 10. I wanted to ask if this amount of smoking brings any drawback to the healing effect of the remedies.

Dear Grigoris.

In excess I guess it's a theoretical possibility, but in average amounts, no.

I have personally been a smoker for the full 12 years I have been practicing Homeoopathy and taking remedies myself, and have never once noticed any interaction.

It IS a filthy habit though, and you should give up!
(although perhaps by using a more individualized approach than taking a remedy certain people randomly recommend for everything from warts on the butt to longevity.)

I am trying to reduce it as my doctor told me that it actually interferes with the treatment, bringing up a delay to the action of the remedy.

A strange thing is that he told me that alcohol will not interfere at all with my treatment, thing that I find a litttle strange. Do you know anything about alcohol, and if it suppreces the treatment results?

Again, in moderation, alcohol is fine.

Avoid things like Beer, Gin, & Absinthe (does anyone still even drink Absinthe?) though, as these are all made with medicinal herbs.
