Joe, I was able to find Asafoetida but they only had 5C, not 6C. I bought it anyway since I assumed the difference isn't that great.
Please describe how and when I should take this, and if I should continue to take Nat Phos and Mag Phos along with it.

On a side note, the on-going 'war' between the different 'experts' on this forum makes it very difficult for those seeking help to figure out who they should listen to. And I'm not interested in getting involved in a 'my brand of homeopathy is better than yours' debate or in taking sides in such a debate.
Joe was kind enough to try and help me so, for now, I'm following his advice. I of course, will not do that indefinitely. When I'm convinced that what he proposes isn't helping me (although it might have worked for others), then I'll try something else.
So please, if anyone else has suggestions, than just propose an alternative treatment and I'll keep it in mind and write it down. Don't just come in and say 'stop this treatment and read this' (no offense to gavinimurthy).
I don't mind the reading part, but let me be the one to decide if a treatment works for me or not and when I'm ready to try something else.

You are welcome to chose the therapy, you would like to have.
To suggest alternatives, more info is required.
How will you know that alternatives are available, unless we intervene, and tell you so?

If you'd like more info and want to ask me some questions, I'll be happy to respond.
My point was that you guys obviously don't get along, and I don't want to be caught in the middle of your dispute.
As I said, if you can offer an alternative treatment, I will certainly consider it if Joe's treatment fails. As it stands, and I might be misinterpreting this, but your offer for help seems to be conditional to me ignoring Joe's advice.

The Asafoetida 5c is OK and you will use it in the wet dose which is made up as follows:
Insert just 3 pellets into a 500ml bottle of spring water and shake it hard (succuss) before you sip a teaspoonful twice daily.
Report progress in 3 days.
As I mentioned a few days ago, yours is a difficult case and it is not impossible that these remedies may or may not help you.
I have no objection to your considering the classical remedies that Murthy has threatened to give you but in the same manner that he has warned you about my non classical prescriptive methods you should be ware that he only has 4 years of theoretical knowledge of his precious classical method of prescribing while I do hot believe in it (the classical method) but have about 25 years of hands on experience in homeopathy which I have practiced without any monetary compensation as to me the satisfaction that I derive in the cure of a case such as yours is ample reward for my efforts to help anyone in distress.
Your case will eventually respond to a remedy and it is the identification of that remedy that will prove to be the challenge and not the method used, classical or non classical now also known as Joepathy.
