This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
dear Drsajid

Thanks for the compliment.

As far as law is concerned, there is no problem even for lay people to prescribe on internet forums.

You are true, but i think modeartor should have a check if a wrong prescription is submitted.

Murthy,

Using the same yard stick...some people will say you are resorting to pseudo- homeopathy.

You may have good knowledge of some of the important concepts of homeopathy...but we have seen you fumbling when it comes to actually applying those concepts to the cases of patients....because of lack proper of experience.

It appears..to hide that deficiency ...you prefer to act like a policeman and post your comments after a few people have given their suggestions....rather than picking up a new post and giving your suggestions directly. This is pseudo - homeopathy in my assessment.

Murthy,

Replying to your post about prescribing....I have clarified many times...I only give homeopathic suggestions...I am not prescribing at all.

For that people have to go to a homeopathic doctor in their neighbourhood and pay a fee.

Dear Murthy, try Silica for impulsive behaviour.

Or always wait for one hour to condemn someone.

I know that you lost lots of peace in your recent past, ask yourself: was it bound to happen or it was an innoscence accident.

Ask yourself, do I want this a way of life?

Dear Pank aj

This is an oft repeated accusation from you.

There are many threads where I had been the first prescriber.

as far as second opinion is concerned, we are not debarred from doing so.

It is always the patient's interest that comes first.

I don't hesitate to question a bad prescription, if I feel it is not good for the patient.

You also might have observed that I don't make any comment,on some prescriptions.

Those are the cases, which, to my knowledge are good prescriptions. some of them may not be good, but, I won't intervene if I feel they are not dangerous.

My way is more by way of exchange of ideas with people who already have some knowledge of homeopathy.

I am at my best, since I started my second innings at ABC, both mentally and physically, despite cutting my sleeping time to the barest minimum.

The reaon is the satisfaction I get in promoting 'proper' homeopathy.

You may think I am a fanatic, but ,I feel I am being fanatic for a good cause.

Murthy

Fanatics are fanatics. Cause could always be invented to justify the hyperactivity.

We come to this site because we love to come here. We made lots of friends here.

We don't want a fanatic here.

The head remedies for impulsive behaviour are

Arg.N,Ign and Puls.(grade 3)

ars,aur,med are grade two.

Unfortunately I don't find Silica in the rubric 'impulsive'. Not even grade 1.

As far as I Know, silica is very weak, both mentally and physically. It doesn't have the stamina..rather a dullard.

I get benefitted by PULS when it is indicated. It is one of the remedies I use.

Hi Kuldeep

In a lighter way..

I think you have no choice other than bearing with me. : )

By now, you know, I can always come back, even if I am banned.

So, you and your friends have to learn to live with me. : )

Dear Murthy

Some minutes ago or at least this last post ago I wrote you an email.

At 11 November I am going to India so my menance would be over. India is a cirus, one need not to go to internet.

You can always come back, Yes, God may bless us and we may welcome each other one day, everyday.

Murthy,
When you want to look for a medicine for yourself...best is to let others describe you.

There is always a disconenct between :

1. What we think about ourselves and
2. What others think about us

...only ...look for a friend who is objective in his analysis.

In Repertory you have to look for 'total opposition to others views'.

Murthy,
Silicea is the 'chronic' of Pulsatilla. (Dr. Kent).

And it is the medicine for people who have 'fixed ideas'....those who are not flexible.

(I have only th patient's interest in mind...that is Gavinimurthy).

Best wishes,

It is better to refrain from prescribing than either make a wrong prescription or confuse patients with multiple prescriptions. And, in my personal opinion, it is of no small value to try and preserve the principles of homeopathy.
A lot of us feel that online prescribing does not allow the very many details that seeing a person face-to-face provides. It is not just the expressions or visage or how they walk in, it is the tone of voice, the reactions of anyone accompanying them to what they relate, the chance to question the person they've come with (if there's anyone). A lot of details that you cannot find online, so hats off to those who try nonetheless. I prefer to see my patients - and its not just paying patients, and give my best care.
BUT, there is no caveat that if someone does not prescribe they cannot comment - I think it is valuable to educate and inform to the best of our abilities and beliefs. From what I read, Murthy has a sund background and genuine concern for homeopathy.

Yes Ripas, you always come at the right time at the right place.

Dear Moderator,

By the way, what have you decided about Mr. Jawaid81's use of abusive language when it was recently prohibited at this forum.Or is it ok to call people 'stup*d' and their ideas as 'bullsh*t'.I do not prefer either of the two dishonourable words used for me.That too from a person who is openly breaking the forum rule of not soliciting a patient to his personal contact away from the forum.I request you to take strict action against this member.

Ripas...about on-line suggestions..your views ..not correct.
If a person cannot do a fair case taking and analysis ...on-line.

On the same case.... how can another make fair comments.

There is a diconnect here.

Pankaj Varma

PANKAJ VARMA last decade
Dear Pankaj, I didnot say 'cannot' - what I said is many prefer not to prescribe online because it might not necessarily be the best you can do. And another thing which particularly bothers me is that if you prescribe 'A' for one person, or say, give them a choice of 'A', 'B', 'C' or 'D' remedies, there are others with the same or similar complaint who will take one or ALL these remedies without due consideration that those need not necessarily suit them. I have experienced this - even after stringent warnings. I choose not to contribute to abuse of homeopathy - and lets, please, not argue again on who is right about which aspects of homeopathy. However, what I am saying is choosing not to prescribe does not make one unqualified to know the tenets of practice, if you can understand that.
