Perianal abscess

Im new to this forum, but have been reading the comments about anal abscess and fistures, and wondering if I can get some advice on behalf of a friend. He has had a perianal abscess removed about 6 months ago, but since then it has still not completely healed, with a tiny opening in the scar, which is still leaking puss and is quite painfull. He has been back to doctor and nurse who say they take a long time to heal but this seems far too long. He has had 2 lots of antibiotics since the op but now it seems to be flaring up again. I also think he has IBS and from reading this could be attributed. Any suggestions would be really greatful.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Ask your friend to answer this questionerie.

There are no quick fixes in homeopathy.

A medicine has to be found to suit the person.

To Laine

You are invited to read the many hundreds (656) of posts that were made on the subject of ANAL FISTULA FISSURE on

I have prescribed Arnica 30, Nat Phos 6x, Silicea 6x with the addition of an Anribiotic ointment all of which have been fine tuned to produce the desired result in a cure of the patient's condition.

If after reading the link above you have any questions, please feel freel to ask them.

I would prefer that you do so on the thread mentioned above to keep all the posts under one thread for the benefit of those who suffer from this ailment which is reported to affect about 15% or humanity.

Thank you for your suggestions. I have gone and bought the Arnica and the Silicea already and will go looking for the Nat Phos. He is off to doctors again tomorow, but hopefully I can get him to start on this treatment instead. Does he have to get the antibiotic ointment from the doctors? I asked the pharmacist and he didnt know what I was on about!!

I note that you still persist in using your thread when I requested you to please use the other devoted to Anal ailments. This is because I feel it best to ensure that all posts are made in the one thread to enable all future patients to benefit from the wealth of knowledge on it which as you can read has helped the majority of patients.

Please post again with a copy of this thread on

I shall reply it on that thread.

So far, there is not a single 'cure' as claimed above. Some get palliated because of the antibiotic ointment.
