Anxiety in the Stomach
Hi,Whenever I get more work I get anxiety in the stomach. I'm also a perfectionist--I want to do the work as well as I can and fear some kind of reproach if I don't do it well enough. Also, as soon as it starts I stop thinking as clearly, and if it goes on for a long time I will think considerably less clearly. There seems to be some opportunistic 'thing' on the biochemical level that increases with this anxiety; I can sort of feel it rising, and I get more dreamy and kind of delirious. Often I dream of romantic things, but often of arguements as well. Thank you in advance.

Now, more seriously, I want to make the patients understand that a single symptom will not help, to zero in on the correct remedy.
They must open up, and tell all about them.
if the patient is interested, he will come back, and ask the same question, as you asked.
then we will guide him to answer a proper questionnarie.
Many people shy away, from that.
