Babies and homeopathy

my 4 week old son has a really stuffy nose and cold. I'm breastfeeding so if I take a remedy will it pass through and help him?

Yes it would. I am currently treating both myself and baby. And as you might know your breastmilk will contain antibodies if you or baby are ill to help him fight infection. Anyway you might want to ask any of the homeopaths in this forum to help u choose the right remedy if u need one.

thank you. I should be ok choosing as I've spent some time studying homeopathy but as a lot of sources say the remedies don't pass into breast milk I was unsure if this would work or not. will post back if I have any problems though

Can you tell me about those sources where it was said that 'remedies don't pass into breast milk.'?

I am curious, as what we know is that even allopathic medicines taken by the mother have an effect on the child.
