Trigeminal Neuralgia
About 5-6 weeks ago I started experiencing severe pain on the right lower jaw that I immediately thought was a decaying tooth. After a visit to the dentist and several X Rays they pronounced me in fine shape and attributed the sensation to stress (no major life changes recently). Anything hold or cold almost drove me to scream. This has now changed to pain in the lower right jaw, sometimes pin prick pain in the front right (near my chin) and pain running up to the jaw joint (sorry, not an MD!). Sometimes headaches, sometimes not. Hot drinks make it worse, but the pain can come and go almost randomly. The pain is sometimes so severe, I just roll around moaning and massaging my face for some relief. Motrin seems to do little. It can last 10-15 minutes and then completely disappear. Any thoughts? Thank you - the pain I am experiencing is unlike anything I have ever experienced before but I can't survive running from one MD to another only to be led down blind alleys. Male, 50 years old. Generally fine health. Appendix removed in 1998. Motocycle accident (not horrible) when about 21. Started seeing a chiropractor about 3 months ago, twice a week for lower back pain which has been helped. Regularly 'cracks' my back and neck, so concerned that an adjustment may have started this up, but cannot directly correlate. Allergies to house dust, cats, pine pollen, grasses (winter here, but a mild one). No apparent color changes, but my wife thinks the right side of my face (the problem side) appears a little puffy. Height: 5'8' Weight: 172 lbs. Not active physically, but get around fine. Spend most of my time at a desk. Do not grind my teeth (well not much). Thank you for the reply and any continued thoughts. Regards...

Does the pain come at the same time every day???
Reply the above query for me to suggest a specific remedy, meanwhile take a dose of Thuja 200C 2moro morning to neutralise the presence of a miasm.

The pain does not come regularly but is becoming more frequent. Was woken up 3 times in the past 4 hours with extreme pain. Yesterday, I probably had 15 - 20 attacks of varying strength. Thanks and regards.

I wud have asked you some more questions...however...in view of your current crisis...suggest that 12 hours after taking Thuja 200:
Start with Belladona 200 ...one dose every hour ...three consecutive doses.
Post feed back in 24 hours.
