My son got ok on his own, I didn't give him anything this time. He just had running nose for whole day and night then next morning he got better.

Thanks for your reply. So do you think we should give him Calc Phos now?

Starting next week I am sending him to daycare so I'm more concerned about him catching cold from other children too.

I had another question too for you in my previous email about eye sight, if you get a chance please give me a feedback about that.

Hope everything is fine with you.
My son got very sick again since Jan 22.

Jan 22 --> his apettite was very low and he started coughing a little. Same night he had fever like 101-102 degree F.

Jan 23--> little cough and same degree fever ...skin red hot... I got afraid and took to child specialist and she just asked to give something for fever and cough syrup...
I knew that you were not around and I was too much worried about his continuous fever so I gave him tylenol for fever. As always tylenol used to control his fever for sometime.

Jan 24--> cough increasing and same degree fever ...

Jan 25 --> runny nose, very bad and too much cough, no fever during day, red eyes, 100 degree fever in the night.
I have not given him tylenol since yesterday (Jan 25) as the fever is not that high now.

I gave him Pulsatilla 200 25th night and this morning.

current symptoms
thirst normal,
appetite very low,
stools normal,
coryza watery,
coughs too much. Chest sounds very congested.
fever a little (like 99-100 degree F)
All these days he is complaning that he has throat pain, headache, leg pain. Wants to be covered and wants to stay with me all the time. Irritated.

I will appreciate for your early reply.

My son still has some cough but overall he is fine.

Yes he can bring up the expectoration, it's semi fluid whitish kind...

I have stopped Pulsatilla for him since Saturday.

Actually we all my husband and me also got fever cold and cough... fever is gone now ... I am still suffering with cold n cough... I think all 3 of us have very bad immune system :(

I could not come online on time to see your post about giving Calc Phos to my son. So I have not given it to him yet.

But again yesterday he started having nosey.
Whole night he was complaining that he is getting nosey and it sounded like blocked.
I could not see the coryza as he was pulling it inside while sleeping.

My husband is having sore throat since day before yesterday so I guess my son got from him. I am so tired of this we all 3 get sick in cycle all the time :(.

I have given pulsatilla 200 to my son this morning. His previous episode had not gone completely and it started all over again so I was wondering should I give something else or Pulsatilla?
He was throwing his balnket.
Wanted to be with me.
Congested sounding.
No fever.

I myself am still suffering from cough, it is taking so long to go (already 3 weeks now). I get whitish expectoration. About every 15 mins I have to take out the expectoration. Once in a while a little "white + watery" coryza. But I was getting better and now since my son got sick again I have started feeling in my throat, that I am going to get cold again. just a slight pain in throat this morning... very little. so I took Aconite 200.
Please help me too as my cough is still there and feeling like i am getting fresh cold again. It feels better when I drink hot drink like tea. No fever. Feeling bit tired.

I have not given Calc Phos to my son yet. I was just thinking to give him and he again got sick. He already had 3-4 episodes of cold and cough with some fever. He was getting recovered but again since yesterday he's having severe cough and a little fever, he's not eating anything at all today and complains that he has throat pain. yesterday night while eating he vomited all what he had.

I don't know if you are around these days, if you are please help me.

Yesterday March 21 evening we had to take him to emergency as he was breathing very fast continuously whole day and evening. Also he was having high fever like 103 degree F. In the emergency they did blood, urine test and did chest X-Ray too. From X-Ray report and his breathing they concluded that it is pneumonia and they have given antibiotics and some vaporisation puff (one that asthama patient uses).
Till this morning his condition is same, he is still breathing very fast
and having high fever.
no food
He is drinking a sip of water every now and then.
soar throat
yesterday vomited twice
white coating on tongue
very sleepy, basically he is just sleeping but disturbed kind.
wants to be covered

Does he prefer hot/cold food/drinks in particular?
Does not want anything at all, but when I just asked he said he'll drink cold milk with Milo.

Is the throat red and congested?
Throat looks red but throat and chest does not sound too congested.

Is the cough dry,or is he bringing up any expectoration?
sometimes there is some expectoration, whitish watery type.

There is no coryza

bowels normal?
normal

I could not read your post yesterday as we were in the emergency till this morning so I have not given him pulsatilla.

please help me I am very confused, I want to get his breathing better as soon as possible.

Thanks for your quick response.
Is his head/ extremeties excessively hot/cold than rest of the body?
His whole body gets hot when in fever and after tylenol is given whole body gets normal.

Is there aggravation especially at night/day?
No he is having same condition throughout. Night may be little worse if I really had to compare.

What makes his breathlessness better and worse? (lying down/ sitting up/moving about/...)
not too much difference but lying down makes breathing sound bit louder. Sitting up and moving makes it better.

Do you feel that he is restless/irritable? or is there any other marked change in mood?
Oh yeah he is restless and irritable, does not like to talk to people other than his papa and me.

He just drank half cup of milk with honey and milo. I know milk is not good for cough but I have no choice but to give him as that is the only thing he's taking now.

I don't know how it was missed in my collection of remedies that I don't have Arsenic Album, I will see if I can make someone to get it for me.

One thing I don't know if I was clear in previous post is that he is coughing a lot.

I will keep posting updates.

My son is fine now, his antibiotic is also over. Just he looks bit weak but he is actively playing.

I could not give him Arsenic Album 30. Now I want to give him something so he will get some resistance. Should I give him Calc Phos now or wait?
