Ganglion CystMother always had small bumps above her wrists on top of both her hands. I inherited them from her. About 2 & 1/2 years ago whenever I was a cheerleader doing a lot of tumbling, my bump on my right hand grew/swelled. It hurt to tumble b/c pressure was put on the bump by my wrists bending. Eventually it left. 2 wks ago, noticed swelling had returned (right hand only.) Bout size of filbert nut. Checked online. Found I have a Ganglion Cyst. It's become painful when strained ie: lifting something with only the right hand, blow-drying hair, stirring when cooking food. Before bump swelled, still very painful if hit at all. How do I get rid of this?
