Ganglion Cyst in the wrist

I have a fairly large, hard ganglion cyst on the back of my left wrist. It used to only bother me on occasion, but now it seems to be constant, sometimes worse than others. I've also seemed to have lost alot of strength in that wrist. I'm a professional guitar player and I'm getting a little nervous about this. Do you have any suggestions on how to make this go away?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give us more information about yourself in general so a good recommendation can be given.

This type of problem can be caused by overuse of the hand, as in playing the guitar, using certain types of tools, typing, etc. It could be in combination with carpal tunnel syndrome, also from overuse of the hands and wrists.

I have seen a couple of different remedies used to treat ganglion, Ruta Gravioliens being chief. I have used this with a family member with ganglion to great success. Surgery is often not useful as the ganglion will return later and can cause nerve damage.

Also resting from the activity causing pain, and chiropractic adjustments provide relief from the pain. I have had carpal tunnel pain and know this first hand the relief it can provide.

Sometimes, faulty nutrition or lack of certain minerals in the diet (the soil our food in grown in is so depleted!!)can contribute to this condition, so perhaps some ionic minerals would also help, as well as the correct remedy.

Thanks for getting back with me so quickly. I live in Tennessee, but travel extensively. I play guitar every day, what a job huh. There is some physical exertion in moving my equipment. In touring, I eat out most of the time with no real consistant schedule, avoiding fast food when I can. I eat pretty much everything as far as meat and veggies... I drink coffee, coke and water for the most part.
I do woodworking as a hobby in my little shop. I have always been physically fit, and quite strong from growing up as a hard working farm boy.
There's a little more about me. I hope it helps.

According to Clarke Sulphur CM cures ganglion in 3 weeks.

Any suggestions on how much and how often to take the sulfer cm?
dgrockstar last decade
Dear rockstar

Before going for sulphur, just take tissue salt Calc. Fluor. 6x twice daily for a week and see if that helps.

P.S: CM doses are powerful so atleast a month(normal period is 3 months) should be the watch-period. So after one dose observation should be made for a month atleast.

Thanks for your input. So, I'm starting to get a little confused. I've had 3 different recommendations, RutaGrava.30x, SulphurCM, and Calc.Fluor6x. Any suggestions on the best place to start or if I should do all 3 together, or would that be a bad thing? The wrist is starting to feel tight constantly and is easily aggrivated.

Start with calc. fluor as it's tissue salt. If the ganglion persists after its usage, post back here with complete symptom set.

Thanks. I'll start today.

i also play guitar and have a reoccurring cyst in my left wrist. sometimes it is bareable, and sometimes it is very painful, like right now.
i was curious to see if the calcium flouride helped you.

Hey fellow guitar player. I regret to say that the calc. flour. did nothing. I also tried ruta grav. with 0 results. I ended up getting a cortizone shot into the cyst just so I could make it thru a tour. That did wonders. The swelling around the cyst has gone down, and it has not hurt much since. I still have to be very gentle with it. I have a deep tissue therapist that works on it, and that helps a lot too. Does anyone else out there have any suggestions? I want to know more about this sulfur.

i would like to know more also. i had surgery to remove a cyst about 3 yrs ago. and i am probably on cyst number 10 since that time. i suppose it is the same one ebbing and tiding.
it currently has gone down to a point that doesn't cause much pain for now.

Hello dgrockstar

You can follow the suggestion of dr.Prodip if the tissue salt has not helped you.
