3yr old with congestion

Please Help... My 3yr old has been suffering from congestion and cold symptoms since October of 2006. He seems to get a cold and it never completely goes away and then another hits. He is a poor eater and we are looking into that right now, but is there any suggestions for increasing his immune system or clearing this 3 month 'almost' cold?
