The ABC Homeopathy Forum

depression, cold fingers, lethargy

I have been diagnosed as clinically depressed (which I have known for a long time) but I think that I might be suffering from hypothyroidism, given the long list of other symptoms, such as lethargy, headaches, heartburn/digestion issues, brittle hair/falling out, and most of all, ice cold fingers most of the time. I really need to know what to take to make this go away. I took kelp for a while, thinking the iodine would help jump start my thyroid, and it helped with the cold fingers but nothing else. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I am 24/F. I don't want this to hold me back any longer.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Start with Nux Vom. 30C (4 pills three times a day)for three days.

In the meantime

Let me know also do you get nausea?

Foul, bitter or sour taste?

Is your pulse regular?

Hi, thanks for the advice, I'll try that.

Um, no I don't get nausea regularly, but dizziness and light-headedness, yes. I do have chronic gastritis. I don't have a foul taste and my pulse is generally pretty low.

Should I continue taking kelp everyday?
Again, thanks for the response.

Oh yes, and lately, some strange heart palpitations (sporadic), although I've never had problems with a heart murmur or anything.

You better report on daily basis.

After taking Nux Vom 30 you should tell me the effect within 24 hours.

Yours is a case of Gastric, Heartburn and heart palpitation. You may thereafter require (AA). This is just a reference for me.
I will tell you later after noticing the reaction of Nux Vom.
