Chronic Ear Infections

My daughter is 11 months and has had 4 ear infections in the last 3 months or so.

The first and second were treated with Amoxicillin. The third with Amphicillin, I think. the most recent with a shot of Rocephin and oral sulfameth.

The last two have only been two weeks apart, so I don't think the antibiotics are working at all.

They start with a high fever, loss of appetite, and a little crankiness. Other then the fever I can't really tell she's sick.

She's usually a happy independent, playful baby.

The doctor wants to put tubes in when shes turns a year. Please help.

Thank you so much.

I really don't like giving her the antibiotics, but I don't want her to suffer. I supplement her with probiotics.

She doesn't really drink a lot of water, only Milk. but I'll keep pushing it. Thank you again.
