This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is for Myopia (Nearsightedness). But it may relieve some associated strain in far-sightedness (Hyperopia). Also Arnica Montana 6C is the best medicine for eye-strains. Belladonna 30 is another.

yes it is very good and dependable medicine along with this medicine you can add syphilinum 1M fortnightly one dose for 2 month and stop the syphilinum.

and wait but you have to continue the physostigma 6c at least 1 year to 1.6 year.

Physiostigma is specifically for myopia.(Those with myopia see nearby objects clearly but distant objects appear blurred. With myopia, the eyeball is too long, or the cornea is too steep, so images are focused in the vitreous inside the eye rather than on the retina at the back of the eye. The opposite defect of myopia is hyperopia or 'farsightedness' or 'long-sightedness' — this is where the cornea is too flat or the eye is too short..Wikipedia)

This is from Boericke.

'Causes contraction of the pupil and of the ciliary muscles. Induces a condition of short-sightedness.'

So, if you use it for +powered people, the sight is likely to become worse.

Jaborandi and Pulsatilla are said to be good medicines for hyperopia.

Wait for some body who says he used it for this condition and got benefit.

Don't be in a hurry.

However Murphy gives Puls as a third grade medicine for Myopia.

He doesn't mention it in relation with hypermetropia.

Any way Murphy gives more than a dozen medicines for both these conditions, so it is difficult to decide on this symptom alone.

Your best bet is to get a complete case taken by a competent homeopath, and follow his directions.

Question regarding your previous post...

Why is syphilinum 1M prescribed fortnightly for 2 months?

Is it to clear miasm associated with myopia?

If this is the case, I have also heard myopia may be part of Tubercular miasm as well. Please can you provide more detail?

Thank You.

So what is the best remedy for +ve power (far sight)

Especially for people like me who have hyperopia and the power is increasing due to long working hours in front of the ocmputer.
