5 1/2 month old with severe reflux

My son is 5 1/2 months old and from day 1 has been vomitting. His reflux is so bad it forced me to stop breast feeding as he was throwing up all over me every few minutes. I have tried almost every formula on the market with no luck. The doctors have told me to add cereal to his bottles but that does not help either. He had an ultrasound of his belly and that came back negative. Now we move on to the GI doc. Some people have told me to try giving him milk. My older son had reflux (not near as bad as the baby) and it seemed to stop all together when we put him on whole milk at age 10 months. Should I try this with the new baby or wait?

I am a 45yr. woman and had reflux problems. I take 2 tablets of natrum phos 12x after meals. It has helped me a lot.Remember to use the biochemic tablet version and not the liquid one.
I hope it helps you.
