Given Rhus Tox 200 - needs advice

Hello,

I have a form of arthritis (stills diseases) since 9 years. Since 2 weeks the disease seems to be active. I am having joint pain in fingers, wrist and knee and also muscular type pain in neck, thighs and shoulder. I also have rashes over chest, arms and thighs.

My doctor advised me to take Rhus tox 200 - 10 drops diluted in water 3 times a day for 10 days. Is the medication a lot as normally i have read people taking only twice or week or so. Also I might be pregnant as i am trying to conceive. I wanted to know if this medicine is safe during pregnancy and the dosage prescribed is alright. I also had a hypothyroid around 2 months ago after taking alopathic medicine thyroid test were normal so i stopped the medication. I seem to be having symptoms of thyroid again. Can you suggest me some medicine for hypothyroid which is safe for pregnancy.

Hello, I am still awaiting test result for thyroid. I don't have any family history either for thyroid or arthritis.
I will post the thyroid reults as soon as i get them.

I just wanted to started the rhus tox as the inflammation snd pain in wrist is a quite a lot. Can you advise me if the dose of 10 drops 3 times a day is suitable.

Ritu,

Rhus-T 200C 3 times a day, is way too much if continued for 10 days.

Maximum of 2 doses in 10 days is what I would go for. If no change is felt , you are probably taking the wrong medicine.

These are not like allopathic medicines , that you keep taking them.

Everytime you take a 200C dose, it is a punch to the vital force, and when you are giving too many punches so quickly , it is not giving it enough time for the curative action to develop.

And regarding thyroid , we would need more details to find the correct remedy. The details you posted are not enough.

Thanks for your reply sameer. So how should i took 2 doses and how many days aparts. How many drops should i take in 1 dose. Also is there a specific way to take the medicine, empty stomach etc.

The best would to be dissolve 10 drops of Rhus-T 200C in a 250 ml water in a bottle.

Take 1 teaspoon from that bottle as first dose and keep the bottle in the fridge.

Then after 7 days give that bottle a hard thwack on the palm of your hand 8 times (basically this to dynamize the remedy to a slightly higher potency) and take another teaspoon from the same bottle.

Sorry to bother you again. I wanted to make sure that i have to dissolve in 250 ml water. After taking 2 doses should i throw away rest of solution.

You can keep that bottle as long as the water in it doesn't go bad.

You can add about 15 ml vodka to it to preserve it incase, you need it in future.

It is improtant to give it 8 hard hits on the palm before you take it (from second time onwards)
