The ABC Homeopathy Forum

halitosis, sebhorrheic dermatitis

Female, 41 years old, 5ft 5inches about 129lbs.

I suffer from chronic, sickening halitosis and what I believe is sebhorreic dermatitis on my face and scalp. Over the last few years I have tried every possible cleanse, fast and detox programme to try and clear these conditions up. My skin will sometimes clear up then come back with a vengeance, breath problem same thing. I do have some periodontal disease but dental treatments have not helped.

I have a 25 year history of alcoholism which is now under control. Most of my life have suffered from irrational fear of snakes (can't even watch on tv), terrifying nightmares since childhood, would often wake up screaming until very recently. Nightmares mostly of snake going to touch or brush past me, or of person standing by bed to kill me. Both of these terror conditions have greatly improved in the last couple of years (since traumatic event a couple of years ago), no more nightmares and fear of snakes less. I have taken many different 'snake' homeopathic remedies over the years.
I have very flaky, itchy scalp. red patches along hair line. Very pale skin with bright red patches on wings of nose, chin and cheek bones. About 15 years ago I had a very strong allergic reaction to erythromycin (for acute tonsillitis) red blotches from neck down whole body (none on face) this lasted for at least 6 months. re-occurred after a different antibiotic 2 years later. Since then the condition on the face started and has never properly cleared up although oddly enough nothing on my body. Seems to get worse at work; artificial air, computers, phones. Clears up temporarily if I get violently sick and vomit. If I drink excessive amounts of alcohol it will also clear up. spicy food (which I love) makes it flare up, also sugar (which I don't like much) will also flare it up.
Halitosis is better for a couple of days before menstruation then comes back full force when period starts, unbearable even to me after period. If I rub my lower gums very bad smell, tongue coated with browny, yellow film. constant throat clearing, lot of mucous if I lie down during day back of throat full of mucous. Sometimes feel the halitosis is exhaling through nose as well. Sometimes wake up in the middle of the night because the smell is so strong (become very upset and depressed with this) sometimes odour seems to come up right side of throat or sinus into mouth (strong vomit smell)
Light sleeper, nightmares have stopped since I almost died 2 years ago. Don't like excessive heat but super sensitive to cold as well, can't function in either - only moderate temperatures.
Went into almost coma as newborn from reaction to antibiotic, allergic to penicillin. Tonsilitis and ear infections often as very small child. Very timid until recently now I'm quite pushy and quick to anger which I don't like, doesn't feel like me, frustration. Feel very repulsive, freeze up when people come near me, invisible defense goes up,sometimes stop breathing. This skin and bad breath are ruining my life, people cover their mouths and step back from me. I hope someone can help!
