Depression and eating disorder

Hi, I'm presently studying homeopathy and i'm curious to try a remedy to help with my current situation.
I am a 24 year old female student.

The problems causing me significant distress at the moment are:
1, Low mood persisting for several days, alternating with 2 or 3 days normal mood before low mood recurs.
2, Low mood worse on waking and usually accompanied with anxiety in the evenings.
3, Bulimic behaviours used (i think spurred on by the anxiety and depressive feelings)which temporarily relieve the anxiety.
4, trouble falling asleep- stay awake until 2 or 3am.
5, feelings of self consciousness and low self esteem and inferiority.
6, Desire to cease to exist NOT suicidal, but often wish to have a break from life.
7, irritable
8, Irritable Bowel Syndrome- primarily diarrhoea (increased frequency and watery stools) with intermittent constipation.

Past illness
1, Graves disease 2 years ago. Currently not on medication and euthyroid. was on Carbimazole for 1 year.
2,Mild iron deficiency anaemia, for over 10 years.
3, Essential tremor for 1 year
4, Hayfever, eczema and recurrent sinusitis.

Medications
Nil except supplements. Omega 3,6,9 fish oils, multivitamin and bach flower remedies Larch and Crab apple.

Sorry for the length of this post! Does anyone have any ideas about a remedy I should use? The depression and the eating disorder are the main things i really need to tackle at the moment.
Thanks in advance.

Is the china mainly for the diarrhoea/ IBS symptoms?

I'm not aware of it being recommended for mood problems, although i'm very new to homeopathy so there's a lot i don't know!

I've seen quite a bit on lycopodium in relation to my mentals. I had a look in material medica and it seems to describe me perfectly.

Perhaps I can combine the 2, or is this a no no?

Thanks so much for your help.

Combining 2 remedies is against the basic principles of homeopathy.

Lycopodium seems to be indicated in your case. However , be very sure about it being the correct remedy before taking it. The essence of Lycopodium is a cowardice where the person feels incapable from within, has problems with confidence and has a low self-esteem. He also at times, becomes irritable and arrogant/bullying to people who are of less authority than him. He still remains obsequious to people of greater authority though.

Depression on waking up which becomes better after walking about a bit, and anxiety between 4 and 8 pm are classic Lyco symptoms.

Take just 3 doses of 30C for ONE day only, if you are sure, and wait and watch after that for a couple of weeks.

Thanks. You say be very sure before taking it. Why? I thought the principles of homeopathy were that taking the wrong remedy doesn't cause harm as such, it just makes no difference. I'm pretty sure its the correct remedy as it matches the mentals, although description in material medica but not the gastro symptoms. I though since the mentals symptoms were causing me greater distress than the gastro symptoms i should use lycopodium? Is this correct?

Thanks again.
