Seeking GERD remedyHi Joe,
I am suffering from GERD of late.Maybe it was brewing for a long time but diagnosed recently- I am a male, 57 yrs old now - I can remember that I used to get occasional acidity after an evening snack when I was may be 27-28 years of age . However, at that time,I did not realise that in future it may become chronic. I went to a super specialist ( allopathic ) about 6 months back & he diagnosed it as GERD & Peptic ulcer & he put me on a course of medicines which included Pentocid, amongst other tablets. I took the course for 3 months. Soon after I stopped taking these pills, the heartburn has returned in fact more pronounced & more regularly than before.
By Chance , I stumbled on this website & read many postings in which you have recommended Nat Phos 6X & Arnica 30 c wet dose.
I purchased Nat Phos 6X pill form & Arnica Mont 30 in liquid form. I have already started NP6X 2 pills thrice a day after Breakfast, lunch & dinner since yesterday. I understand it will be quite a while before it shows positive results.
As for Arnica Mont 30 , Ihave not started taking it coz I need your advice on how to take it. On the bottle it is mentioned that Alcohol content is 94.1 %. Do I have to Dilute it ? Also please advice whether it has to be taken orally & in which dose ?
I really want to give this homoeopathic treatment a shot.
My only symptoms are : I get heart burn after eating meals - It starts about 1.5 hours after a meal & lasts for may be 45 min. If I lie down, after meals it does not show up. But on waking up after an afteroon snooze, it sometimes triggers.
I have stopped smoking & alcohol at which i was a regular.
Please advice about how should I administer ARNICA Mont 30.

start the treatment with NUX VOMICA 30C twice a day in the morning and evening empty stomach for 3 to 4 days.
once you notice a change in your symptoms, you should stop NUX VOM and put down all your symptoms in detail here and the follow up remedy shall be suggested.

Thanx for a different tip. I would like to know why you have suggested NUX VOMICA 30 C when there were so many postings by Joe recommending NAT PHOS 6X & Arnica 30 C in wet form..
Also my question about how to use ARNICA MONT 30 in wet form remains unanswered.

the first remedy is based on the above statement of yours.
i believe, nux will streamline your digestive system in a few days and then based on the presenting symptoms a deep acting remedy could be suggested for permanent cure.
i believe in suggesting remedies based on the etiology, modality, location and sensation of the symptoms.
i dont suggest run of the mill treatment. thats not homeopathy.

To find a correct remedy for you is based on a different approach. Gerd may turn into Barrets os. A serious disease. Swallowing a remedy for months without it having any effect happens because it is not the remedy for you. Hpathy is unique in this respect, not like a drug regime. Using remedies like Joe does could put you and anyone else using this method in big trouble, or you claiming Hpathy does not work, it does. As a consequence Joe does not post here anymore. Rishimba's advice is good. Post your case here and a remedy should be advised that may be better for you.
Remedies are preserved in alchohol, they do not need diluting. (Unless your hpathic adviser tells you so, for other reasons)A dose is a few drops on the tongue, no coffee or mint or strong smelling drink or food an hour before or after taking a remedy
