sudden hearing loss
I am wondering if and I assume homeopathy will benefit a family dog, anyone could help with suggestions of what to try to help recover our family dogs hearing. She is 4 y/o cavalier spaniel. Last of the litter, a bit hyper personality. Moody if she is corrected/sulks,ignores us if we reprimand her. Needy of affection.
Sudden hearing loss over past 3 or so days, may have been in a decline over time but not sure.
Helath history-she took a hit to her head about 2 years ago from a baseball bat from young child, (accidental she ran into the bat a child was swinging)She went flat out, almost seizure like. Got a decadron shot for possible head edema. Snorring increased after blow to head.
I question a toxicty of some type. We have wooden deck I assume treated with arsenic she has at times licked water/eaten off the deck.
We have high iron tap water she sometimes drinks. Also notice increase in hair shedding recently. No skin issues no scratching.
Any suggestions of what to do or where to start?
Allopathic medicine has left us without any real answers or help.
I know this is a sudden change and something is behind the hearing loss.
