pterygium

Hi, I developed a pterygium on right eye. I read Zinc Metallicum is good to cure it. I have been taking it for 2 weeks but do not see much improvement. How long does it take to heal???
Am I taking the right medicine?
I am a simple person, likes to be in the sun, likes to acomplish things, likes to exercise, am happy and laugh a lot. I am very positive too.
thanks for response,
