pterygium
I have a pterygium that extends over the cornea almost to the pupil. I have had it since 2010 and it is moving closer to my pupil. It is not yellow or red but opaque with what looks like some red veins under it. It is a triangular shape starting from the inner corner of my left eye and fanning towards the pupil. My eye often feels dry and more so when I wake in the morning. I have tried zincum met 30 once a day for months and I thought is was receding but now it seems to me moving again. I am terrified of going blind in this eye. Can anyone offer advice on what else I could try?Many thanks

Discomforts are dry eye, especially in the mornings
It is worse in the morning upon waking.
Squeezing eye shut helps, natural saline drops sting initially then feel better.
No health issues known. I am a 63 year old woman, 128 pounds 5'2" tall. I worry a lot especially about my sight and hearing although my hearing is fine.
