Please read all the other children postings. You will get a better view of how to report symptoms.
Begin with birth and all the things that followed that drew your attention to "problems." BLessings, Sabra

My baby has been breastfed (exclusively for 6 months).I started noticing problems a couple of months after the birth. she had patches of rough skin, but only to touch, you couldn't see them really. then about 5-6 month she developed a rash on her chest, which the doctor described as drool rash and told me not to worry. she had very mild cradle cap.at that time she didn't scratch. when I started giving her solids, the rash appeared on the neck as well and became itchy. It took me a while to figure out it's from food. I only realized after I stopped eating dairy and noticed slight improvement. the rash became inflamed again though with soy, corn, sweet potatoes and so on. some foods cause immediate red spotty rash around her mouth -dairy, corn, apple juice.
now it is usually bright red sometimes scaly, very dry and rough.it gets worse after eating meat, beans and any protein rich foods.sometimes the skin on her shoulders cracks open. it is all very itchy, sometimes she scratches until bleeding.
it is localized on the sides of her neck, chest, both shoulders-these are the main red, scaly patches. she has smaller patches all over her body, red on the back and stomach , and flesh colored on her legs. they are all rough and dry. she itches intensely always when she's sleepy, and whenever she's irritated. also her itching increases with exacerbation of redness and roughness which usually appears after a new food. after the exacerbation when the skin is hard, rough, scaly and thick it starts peeling off a bit.
at this point all we both eat is rye bread, potatoes, lettuce, maple syrup, canned salmon and spinach. whatever else I try to eat julianna's rash becomes more itchy and inflamed. She's still mainly breastfed. if I eat other foods she also scratches during or immediately after breastfeeding.
I can't think of what else to write. if you have quesations let me know.
thanx

If you are breast feeding you could try taking Sulphur 30 - or put tab in food - this will probably cause cries from the purists!.

It is a shame to stop breast feeding just to see.
Try some NUX Vomica, take it yourself, and see if there is any lessening in the rash/eczema. One dose in am and pm. (two days) Whatever potency you can get. Smallest bottle, small grandules. 3 big pellets is one dose and 5-6 tiny ones are one dose.
Keep watching the foods. My own son was allergic to anything green. He was able to eat peanutbutter, but many children are not...be careful.
Please read the posting on "Immunizations and antibiotics."
You might think of having APIS M. on hand in case of allergic swellings and anaphylactic shock. (swelling of whole body and loss of breath) It would reverse any allergic reaction to peanuts.
Later, when you make the decision to discontinue nursing and there is still scalp problems, Mezereum should take care of it.
Time will tell, but study all you can when you observe your baby. Blessings, Sabra

He also had atleast three episodes of Asthma attack.
Our son's case is very similar to your daughter's and I sincerely hope she feels better b'cos I know how terrible it is on the kid as well as the parents.
He is still under Homeopathy medication, we are seeing some improvements, hoping to see better results in the near future.
Our son would itch throught night and we all would have sleepless nights, its a terrible situation.
We are trying our level best not to give him any Steriod based medication or ointments.
I called up the manufacturer "Boiron" and asked them about the effect of Lactose and they were of the opinion that the Lactose content was very minimal to cause any reaction.
Please refer to our sons case.

Initially, when founding out he was allergic to milk I was confused over if it was the lactose or/and protein. It is the PROTEIN which is the problem and NOT the lactose.
Today, I was approached in the streat by a lady that recommended homeopathy. Does it help, cure eczema??? I don't know anything about it. Grateful for any recommendations.

I know how terrribly painful and frustating it can be to have a child who is allergic to almost anything, even formula milk. I also realise the terrible anguish it causes the mother who is unable to sleep day or night beacuse the child cannot sleep or stop itching.
I thank God Almighty that I was able to treat both my children who suffered from birth with severe eczema, as a result I have treated many others from this experiance. I always base eczema prescription on the personality of a child.
Tell me more about your childs personality.
