chronic sinusitis/loss taste

I had a really bad cold in March08 and since then my sinuses are acting up by being clogged most of the time. Sometimes I have sinus pressure and discolerd discharge. Loss of test is what bothers me most. Even if I have a good day with my sinuses, sense of taste does not increase. I can smell strong smells such as strong perfumes. I was told by ENT to take Claritin and Nasonex - don't want to do that - did that 10 years ago and had sinus surgery for polyps. Don't have polyps now but sinuses are inflammed due to allergies. Up until March 08, I was able to manage my allergies and symptoms with Antioxidants and Vit C.
Does anyone have any adivse?
thank you

Hello. I was wondering if this rememdy worked for you? I had the same thing happen to me in February 08. I had a bad cold, and since then, my taste has not been the same, and my sinuses seem to be inflammed.
