side effects?
I have a 24 mo. old daughter who is taking a homeopathic viral detox for ongoing respiratory illnesses. This viral detox contains: alfalfa, mountain arnica, yellow jessemine, wind flower, butterfly weed, calcium carbonate, selenium, sulfur, epstein-barr virus, cytomegalovirus, herpes simplex virus, herpes zoster, coxsackie virus, measles, mumps, hepatitis, & mononucleosisShe has been on it a week. 5 drops twice a day. The first 3 days she has a low grade fever 100.3 no higher. The 4th day she got a rash that resembled measles (my first daughter had it so I know what it looks like) that went away. Day 5 she got what appreared to be the chicken pox but only on her face and 3 on her hand. They turned into water type droplets then today they are crusted.
She is not vaccinated (and to my knowledge has not been exposed). Is this all part of the viral detox? I'm not quite sure what symptoms would come out from a viral detox. Other than her cough is gone for the first time in her life. What should I expect from this.
Thanks
Emily
Quick overview of medical history. She was born 3 mos. prematurely and was very healthy at birth (no oxygen or anything needed. Just weight gain she was 30 weeks and 4 lbs. 4 oz) she was released within 2 weeks and was home 4 days before she got RSV and was in the hospital for 1 mo. She had 6 blood transfusions and lots of medicine. Within 2 weeks of getting home she developed 4 hemangiomas on her. 2 on her back of her head and 2 on her face (one beside the nose which required surgery and one above her eye.) They are now in the involute stage.

Okay, call me silly... but I didn't find that thread particularly helpful. I still don't know how that answered my question.
My question is are these symptoms typical of taking a detox homeopathic?
She is doing perfect today with nothing. I still have 6 more days to finish on this.
Thanks

You are not silly, you are uninformed. One does not give a young child eighteen remedies at once.
I would never have chosen this particular method of caring for a child. Even though I have been known to use several remedies, never like this. Even allopathic doctors do not do this.
The child should have been treated for the first symptoms of chest/throat problems, according to the set of symptoms. Was that done?
Yes, she is "proving" out some of the remedies. I do not think this has "hurt" her, I hope, but this is NEVER done by homeopaths.
Frankly, I feel she has had enough, and I suggest you stop this method now.
This is not like antibiotics that one must finish a "time" of treatment. Homeopathy is to give the LEAST and STOP when better.
Blessings, Sabra
