Dear Joehe ,

Please wait for another week ,as then all the symptons will have to be relisted as to what is their intensity with respect to before taking the remedy .

Also a note would have to be made if any new things have developed .

It is still too soon to repeat the remedy even if the good effects are wearing off . The text books say that calc action lasts for 60 days ,hence at least 20 to 25 should be given .

I wonder Sammerji , is psorinum required before moving to calc carb 200.

No need to take Psorinum.

And, there is no hard fast rule as to the duration of response. A reaction lasts as long the symptoms don't relapse. That can happen in 2 days and that can happen in 2 years.

There is no hard and fast rule, so I think it is time for 200c dose.

I took calc carb 200C on March 26th and have been feeling better since taking it. I am going to continue to monitor for another week to 10 days before posting symptom progress, but I have a few questions about where to go from here:

Does it matter if I use mint flavored toothpaste?

Will coffee antidote the calc carb?

Is it ok to drink alcohol?

Any suggestions of what to avoid?

Thanks for all your help so far and I am very greatfull for this forum.

Toothpaste is ok as long as you dont brush teeth in the vicinity of the dose.

Coffee should be avoided.

Alcohol occasionally is ok.

Strong perfumes/after shaves and all medicinal skin ointments should be avoided.

I have noticed last week that I get bad stomach cramps after I eat milk or ice cream. Is this normal with calc carb? Also, the foot odor still hasn't gone away but seems to be improving.

As long as you are mentally improving, these things should be taken as a part of curative process.

Milk aggravation can occur when under Calc treatment.

Hello again, I wanted to give you an update on my progress.

First of all, I want to say that all of the problems that are listed at the top of this post (except depression) started to occur after early November. In early November, I had a major sinus infection for 4 days. I never did see a md but the sinus infection improved, however I was still experiencing pressure in my face when I would lie down.

Now that you know that, I know again am in the middle of a major sinus infection with all the same things that happened in the first sinus infection. Do you think this has anything to do with the calc carb? I am now on my second round of antibiotics and hope that the pain goes away soon.

As far as my symptoms have been going: the sweating and body odor are almost unnoticeable anymore, depression is controlled by an antidepressant, I am more outgoing and have more energy and am more apt to work outside as opposed to sit in front of the tv, I still have diarrhea after eating dairy, but am hoping that will go away as things improve, also, short term memory still isn't as it was before, but I'm hoping it will get better as I get moving around more.

Since this second bout of sinus infection I have been very tired and had alot of facial pressure as well as tooth pain, but it seems to have gotten better over the last few days. I plan to go to a dentist in a week to have xrays taken to see if my wisdom teeth are causing problems with my sinuses (I will probably have them removed soon).

Well, let me know your thoughts on the subject. Again thanks for helping me, I am very grateful. Have a wonderful weekend!

You did the wrong thing by going on anti-biotics in November and that suppressed the complaint resulting in deeper problems. Now that Calcarea Carb has brought that symptom back, you have done the same mistake again by going on anti-biotics.

Return of old symptoms is a very good sign but when the return happens, they should be tackled homeopathically.

Removing wisdom teeth is not a good idea, as that will also act as a 'block' to cure. Any organ removed acts an 'obstacle' to complete cure as the VF does not have all the means to respond, once a part of the body has been removed.
