general anxiety disorder

I have recently been diagnosed with general anxiety disorder. My sympton picture seems very aligned with Aresenicum album as a remedy. Symptons:
deeply anxious; extremely concerned with order and security. often anxious late at night upon waking in early hours of the morning. by anxiety. pretty obsessive about small details and very neat. often feel desperate need to be in control of everything.

About ten years ago, I took Aresenicum Alba as a constitutional remedy for Rhematoid Arthritis under the care of a homepathic physican and my illness went into (permanent so far) remission.

I have aresenicum album in several dose levels at home remaining from this time. (6 C, LM2, LM 3). I would like to begin a constitutional dose of this remedy to see if it has a postive impact.

My question: Does this seem like a good remedy to start with? What what would be a good starting dosage? Should these remedies still be potent even though they are ten years old? (Stored in their original bottles.)

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I would try a dose just to see.

Remedies only go bad in extreme heat or extreme chemical odors. I have some 30 years old.
