Hi Sameer,

Regarding his health:

NODES: his nodes are not getting better in fact there is swelling around his nodes especially the one on the left side. He complains pain when touched (sometimes). The swelling is more when he gets up in the morning and reduces to some extent during day time. We noticed some improvements after giving him Hepar Sulphur 1M dose(on 7th evening), but it seem to have increased in size again. It may be a coincidence but the weather is also cold and moist for last 2-3 days. There has been a sudden change in the weather. It was hot earlier.

Wheezing: wheezing and nodes were getting better, there was some improvement but for past 3-4 days there is no improvement as such. I had to give him inhaler twice a day, then after 12 hours, then gap increased to 24 hours, then I gave him inhaler after 43 hours. He still has some difficulty in breathing. His asthma is worst during morning hours. Sometimes he would get up in the morning feeling restless and suffocated and asks us to give him inhaler.

Behaviour: No major change in behaviour. When he is in good mood he is happy but if provoked he gets angry and aggressive also. When he feels helpless and powerless he tends to bite. When he is alone with me his behariour is very good. He behaves more responsible, takes care of me and co-operates with me on everything. Very sweet in general. He is possessive about his name. If we call him with any other name he gets angry. He is obsessed with fighter planes and talks about them all day. He is more attached with me. He doesn't sleep without me. Even when he gets up in the morning if I am not there he gets irritated.

Please let me know if there is anything else you want to know.

Regards,
Ruchika

Hi Sameer,

Here is the latest update about my son's health.

Nodes: His nodes are getting better and they seem to have been reduced in size a lot and there is no swelling in the surrounding area.

Asthma: his asthma has got worse. He has been wheezing persistently and I did not have any other choice but to use inhalers.

Behaviour: he became aggressive and was hitting more after the dose. he was throwing tantrums and was getting annoyed and angry. He also got mild fever but got better on its own. He became very fussy even in eating, taking bath, moving out of the house.

He is moody. Taking food has got better now. He is taking bath but not willingly I have to force him. Hitting has also reduced. He is less aggressive now.

Thats all I could recall and tell you. His father is already in Banglore and we are relocating to Banglore in 10 days. I hate to give him inhalers and prolonged use of them is also not appropriate but i feel helpless when i see him breathing with so much of difficulty.

Please suggest what can we do for his asthma.

Ruchika

Hi Sameer,

His Lymph nodes size had reduced during last week but since yesterday it seems be growing bigger. I could also feel there are multiple nodes on both the sides. I am giving him Pink inhaler which is a preventive medicine for his asthma. If I stop giving him that his asthma will come back. I don't know what to do, just wanted to update you on his health and we'll wait for few more days. I'll update you in between if there would be any concern.
Thanks,
Ruchika

Hi Sameer,

My son's health is lot better now. His asthma is gone completely. No wheezing, no cough and no inhalers too.

His lymph nodes are also better but are still visible. no swelling at all.

His appetite is very poor and has become a fussy eater. He refuses to eat meal even in school.

He does wet bed at night sometimes.

His teacher was telling us previously that he does get over shadowed. Though he is a very knowledgeable child but he doesn't like to express himself in public.

What to do next please suggest.

Thanks,
Ruchika

Hi Sameer,

This is to inform you that my son is running with fever (98.6F to 101F)from last two days. I am giving him calpol 250mg (5-6ml) whenever his temperature crosses 100F.

I can wait for one more day and after that I have to see a doctor for him which would be my last option.

His lymph nodes are visible and their size has also increased a little with swelling around them which was not there till yesterday.

His behavior is good, appetite is also better and energy levels also good. He Likes to play games involving all of us (his grandparents too).

Please suggest what can we do next.

Thanks,
Ruchika

Hi Sameer,

I gave him a single dose of Calcarea Carb 200c in water yesterday.

There was a change in his behaviour after the dose, he became more aggressive. He scratched his grandfather's face and was hitting more. He was even hitting me which he doesn't do very often. He is throwing tantrums. He wants to play with games like chess and is happy generally. His appetite is also okay.

He is still running with fever, runny nose, cough. His nodes looks bigger and swollen.

Today is the forth day and we took him to doctor as his fever was not getting controlled and shot up to 103.5F. He was diagnosed with throat infection. doc prescribed antibiotics which he is refusing to take.

Please suggest me what I can do because he will not take antibiotics at any cost and doctor is saying that fever will not come down if infection is not controlled.

Thanks,
Ruchika

It will improve in 3-4 days.

Use crocin for fever as needed. Anti-biotics are not needed.

Hi Sameer,

His general health is good. His appetite is also good. He is active(physically too) and wants to play all day. He is happy most of the time but does get aggressive if we do not act according to his wishes.

He is not congested but rattles superficially when he coughs.

Not much improvement in his Lymph nodes but he is having swelling in surrounding areas.

I noticed few small psoriases spots on his body( thigh, leg, shoulder, back... )today.

He is little warm today his temp was 98.7F.

Please Let me know what should be done next.

Ruchika
