Stick with two doses. (one non) He is trying to regain his ground with the sympathy.
"rushed" him to the doctor?? Sounds very emotional. Please avoid this at all costs.
I do not know if I have ever gone or taken a child to the doctor for loose bowels? This is the body getting rid of a lot of toxic junk like a fever.
Keep up the positive, matter of fact, attitude. When one is too sympathetic, the child fails to feel strong and sure of his manhood. They are like simi-cripples, thinking they have no power of their own.
It is like a horse, one must be firm and the horse feels safe. It doesn't feel safe with a overly sweet and easy person. They rebel for the firm handling for feelings of strength.

Well Sabra, not actually rushed but I had to decide quick as he was having school exams and besides he was losing body fluids and was not willing to take any orally to compensate.
I always try to feed to him that he is a strong boy and the germs can no longer harm him and he has to be stronger then them so you win against them.
He also lost a kg weight during the last 10 days. he was already 24.5 kgs and now is 23.5. his height is ok and exact age is 8yrs and 4 months.

A strong healthy body prevents any illness from taking up residence. Raise the level of intelligence, make him think.
I would have made him take the tests (good or bad) and THEN taken him home or for help. He has tricked you again. He wanted to get out of the tests OR go to the dr for attention.
His refusal to drink water is your proof. He is still manipulating you.
One does not get dangerously dehydrated that quickly. He would have drunk water at home, if you had not said anything. Just hand him a salted something to eat and a glass of water at the table and walk away.
When he believes you will "desert" him in his "troubles" he will learn to be cooperative.
The first time my little year old decided to throw a tantrum kicking his heels on the floor, I reached over and rolled him around with my (bare) foot. No one said a word. He never did it again.
It is like when a toddler falls behind the walking mother and the mother waits for him to catch up, there comes a time the mother says "come on or I will leave you." The child cries a lot, but finally realizes MOTHER is in charge, not him.
Over all, you are doing a wonderful job!! You will win on all sides, I just know it!

Thank you Lu. My health continues to improve. I am happy with progress.
My sons are all over 40. They think I am totally weird. I do not see them. Different states. In spite of everything, they remain unspiritual and unforgiving. I was a difficult mother.
I pray for good lives for them and for their perfect health and let them live their own lives. They all are in business for themselves. Well respected. I am proud of them. My training did not go to waste.

Sabra, son is doing very well. As yet no throat or ear complaints. though there is at times a little dry cough but then he is ok. he has also had in between once or twice icecreams and also warm soft drinks...white ones....

Hi Sabra...still on with two....he is going to have his finals beginning of may....we have to make sure that he stays well during the exams and before....
so is it ok if I continue with OS doses twice daily till then and then with one dose and two waters..

Yes, this is fine, you are following your intuition and planning ahead for good results. This is a good thing and I am pleased for you.
Remember to "set him up" for the testing. Remark about how smart he is and well prepared and how proud you are of his progress...etc. Then he will not be able to "manipulate" you again because you beat him to it.

Hi. just to keep you updated here. Son is doing well. i am not even so strict now his taking warm softdrinks occassionally or an icecream, which always bothored me that this would give a rise to his infection, but thanks to you and your guidance that he is doing well now.

Hi! how are you. Keeping you updated here that son is doing well. I am still continuing with Os twice daily. He has eaten icecreams and a little cold soft drinks as well but all is well.

Dear Sabra, Hi! Son seemed a little yesterday. Later he said he has severe pain in left ear. Then in the night he had 100 temp and now in the morning it is 101. He still talks about pain. In the night I gave him balladone 30 too.
Please advise earliest.
This was triggered by maybe him eating freely icecreams after his school's final exams ended.

Dear Sabra,
I had to take him to his doc. His left gland was infected. I had no choice again but to give him antibiotic. I continued with OS and ballladona too. This time his infection came after more than 2 months...against him getting it almost monthly. This time his temperature was also not so high. Max 101 against 104 which he always got.
He also got mouth ulcers this time. It could have been becoz of use antibiotic.
He is better now. I am continuing with OS as advised.
