pcos

Hi there,

I am a classical PCOS diagnosis. I have irregular periods, acne, weight gain, insulin resistance, excessive hair growth on face, breast, stomach, and back. In the past year and a half I have taken Thuja 30 for the cyst on my ovaries, dios 30 when I have low back pain, and Phos 30 when my periods go over 7 days to help stop the flow. This has helped me have more regular periods and get the acne and weight gain under control.

My problem now is that I still have irregular periods with excessive discharge between cycles, it is always worse when I need to urinate and there is pressure in the lower abdominal area. The discharge looks to have a pinkish color. The periods I do have tend to run about 2 -3 weeks. Stopping for a few days then returning, or with flow being irregular. I may have a light period or 2 then have a very heavy period with lots of clotting. Back pain/cramps seems to be worse on heaver cycles.

I still have lots of hair growth, that has not changed. Though the weight gain has slowed and the past year I have been able to maintain a 10 lb weight loss. I am concerned about insulin resistance, and wonder if I can try to treat that. If somehow I can get the weight down then maybe I can decrease the testosterone?

Please any questions, opinions or feedback is welcome.

Thanks!
