BP raised in Panic attack?

Can any one tell me if the blood pressure would raise during a panic attack?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Of course BP raise in a panic attack. In severe cases it could be a heart failure.

Kuldeep,
I believed that the panic attack was because of nervous problems. Then how can one get a heart failure?

Think about it, you're pouring so much adrenalin into your body that your heart is racing, your BP is very elevated, if you have any problems at all you could easily push your BP high enough to have a stroke or if you have any kind of constriction or heart problem you're heart wouldn't be able to handle the added burden of the forced extra beating or the increased blood flow. I always loved that "it's ONLY a panic attack, it won't kill you." Yeah right.
