Silica and Scars. What is Silica? What are Acne Scars??? Page 24 of 26

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Terry,
I personally think that every person gets different shapes and sizes of pimples. I have seen people with tiny pimples all over their face and then some with big pimples and so on. When I started taking silica, I had both kinds. I had small size pimples and then only a few big ones. Once they filled out with puss they healed faster. Gradually they became smaller and smaller in size. Once they became smaller I realized that these were probably the last ones and then healing will begin after.
I bought tea tree oil from Body Shop few days ago. It is helping me with regular (dark)scars or marks that pimples leave behind. Silica is helping me with acne and with pitted scars.
Thanks

WHOAH THERE!

The Silica that you get in Silica Gel sachets contains 'dopants' which prevent fungii and pests growing on the hydrated Silica gel. These are very poisonous and not fit for human consumption.

I'm not sure about the homeopathic uses for silica gel sachets, but they would be different from pure silica.

Hazards

Alone, silica gel is non-toxic, non-flammable and chemically unreactive. However, some of the beads may be doped with a moisture indicator, such as cobalt(II) chloride, which is toxic and may be carcinogenic. Cobalt (II) chloride is deep blue when dry (anhydrous) and pink when moist (hydrated).

Crystalline silica dust can cause silicosis but synthetic amorphous silica gel is non-friable, and so does not cause silicosis. A chemically similar substance with far greater porosity is aerogel.

//////////////////

These hazards can be avoided if Silica Gel does not contain any moisture indicator (99% chances are that it does not contain any of these).

Just Blow with our mouth over the Gel caplets and if you see any change in color -- do not use it. In my life so far I haven't come across with any such Silicea Gel.

Researcher,

can you please provide another update? how r things going? anymore improvement noticed?

Hi Terry,
Thank you for asking. Yes acne is really starting to clear up now. The pitted scars are softening around the edges. But thats a very slow process. The changes are noticable though.
How are you doing? Have you started the treatment. How do you make your silica?
Thanks

No.. I havnt started yet as i cant find any good rocks.. I dont live near water.. There are some greyish/black rocks near my house, I wonder if they will work?

TerryFord last decade
Hi Terry,
You don`t have to live near water. I don`t live near water either. I went to a children`s playground and I saw white little rocks sparkling in the sun. They are the ones you need. They are bright white. They sparkle like crystals in the sun light. Next time when you get a chance go visit a playground or a park (you won`t find talc rocks in grassy area).
In the begining I used to pick up greyish , black rocks too but for me they were almost impossible to break.
Go on google, put talc rock in the search bar and look at a picture of talc rock.
These are usually small in size.
Thanks

Any rock is just as good as any.

Or just beat up the rock with a hammer and in the dust cloud, hold a wet piece of stick. Lick that stick once a week.

Researcher thanks for specifying exactly the kind of rock. I found those too - it was used at ground cover around landscaping. I wasn't sure if they were the right ones, as someone called them quartz rocks. Bright white and they sparkle in the sun.

Hi Girilal, i have a question - I recently located some fine white sand (looks like salt) in a hotel's in standing ashtrays meant for extinguishing cigarettes. I do hope my discovery is the right one as it will save me having to crush the rock. Should I heat it or not necessary since it is in powder form? How much of the powder should i use?
Can't locate any silica gel sachets just when I need them.
Will keep searching.

Gettin-beta last decade
That sand is not fine enough, you still have to crush it further.

Kuldeep,

I am about to start my silica treatment but fear breaking out heavily.. From your experience does everyone break out initially when they begin taking silica?

TerryFord last decade
Hi Terry,
yes, Mr. Kuldeep would have a much better idea from years of experience with treating patients. All the people I know who have been on silica broke out initially. I did too. But trust me the break outs reduce in about 4-5 weeks. Silica basically tries to push out all the impurities that lie under the skin. Now I eat chocolates and nuts (in very moderate amounts and not on a regular basis) and I don`t break out as a result.
Remember caffiene makes skin break out in some people. Therefore, I don`t drink coke, tea or coffee.

Kuldeep,

Any update from you?

My all experience related to Silicea come from this thread. It sure works, to some people effects are apparent in a day and to some, effects are felt after a month. Initially scar edges and grains go fat and may be little bit inflamed. After skin rejects the thing it does not need, they start becoming normal.

Silicea alone can not heal a cut skin scar but if a scar is due to just a bump on the surface, it may fix it.

A friend of mine was dragged 100 meters from a bus and lost half of his face. Silicea did wonder to him even surgeons were wondering.

So no harm in trying it.

After reading pages 8, 9 and 10 of this thread, I noted that many people have been really depressed & disheartened after trying this treatment for nearly 3 months (especially Beaker). I don't think I would like to venture into making the silica water or pounding the silica gel. I have read that it is carcinogenic. I would rather leave well enough alone. The Arnica 30c wet dose that I take twice a day for hair loss has minimized my acne problem. A pimple a month is manageable, but to breakout like some people claim, after the silica treatment, would be too much to handle.

Gettin-beta last decade
Gettin-beta,

I agree with that statement to some degree but what about those people who have stated that this treatment has worked or is working for them? Researcher being one of them and his/her account seems believable and real. Others are also claiming that the treatment has worked so well that the scars have gone all together.. Its because of this that I have worried about starting this regime - On one hand there is a potential treatment that works and is free but on the other hand it could lead to more scars and more dissapointment... based on this, i am going to give it a go and hope that i am one of the lucky ones

It no case it will leave more scars, silica is added to most of multivitamin supplements in these days. Check the label of Centrum etc. Homemade Silica is real silica, any finer variety of it will be close to the silicates.

Plants like Aloe, Jade plant etc contain the beneficial properties because they contain Silica Gel but that is more close to silicates.

Kuldeep,

Are you saying that silica wont work on pitted scars and will only work on raised scars?

TerryFord last decade
Most acne pits have a raised bump around it, it is not really a pit but looks like a pit.

girilal last decade
but i have clear pits.. there is no raised skin around it..

TerryFord last decade
If those are acne scars, silica will do the wonder.

girilal last decade
Girilal, I have no pits / no bumps, just discoloration - brownish marks where acne used to be. When I use foundation, it appears like I have a flawless skin.
Girilal, what would be the potency and dosage of silicea from a homeopathic store that would yield similar results to your home made remedy?

Gettin-beta last decade
Hi Gettin-beta,
For simple brownish marks from acne I use tea tree oil that comes in a tiny green bottle from Body Shop.
Thanks

researcher last decade
Getting-beta you should try Phytolacca 30C once a day. Repeat it weekly for long time because you may notice improvements after 4 months.

girilal last decade
Will try to locate the little green bottle from Body shop. Thanks for the tip Researcher.

Girilal, phytolacca berry 30c had amazing results for my sons dandruff. Thanks to you! Love your garlic remedy for colds too. For how many days should i take the phytolacca once daily? Should i stop arnica wet dose if I start phytolacca for the brown marks? I take arnica for my hair. Appreciate your help.

Gettin-beta last decade
Take the extract of Phytolacca or Phytolacca Q, if you are also taking Arnica.
