Infant GER

Hi,
I am very new to homeopathy. I’ve never used it before, so please bear with me as I am very uneducated in this area. I have a 4 week old, who is displaying symptoms of reflux. I just took him to the Dr. and they suggested trying meds. such as prevacid. I don’t think I’d ever try these meds as an adult, let alone for my newborn. I really want to try something safer.
He is a breastfed baby. At birth he was a big spitter-upper. About a week or so ago, it seems things have gotten much worse. He’s beginning to spit up more often and larger amounts. He gets hiccups multiple times a day. They always make him cry. He cries as if he’s in pain after eating and it takes forever to console him. He has wet burps that make him scream in pain. He hates to be laid flat on his back. It only makes him scream louder and spit up more. Sometimes he wakes from a nap screaming. (his naps are never too long.) He always seems hungry, but now I think it’s just the comfort of nursing that he’s seeking.
This is my second child. I know all babies cry and have fussy periods. But this is not normal. I’m exhausted as I know my poor baby is too. I’ve tried nursing him more elevated. I try to keep him elevated for 30 min. after eating, and frequent burping. I’ve eliminated all dairy, thinking that would help, but nothing really seems to be working.
I’ve read about Silica and camamilla on here. Not sure which one would be best for us and how to even take it. Again, this is my first time trying homeopathic meds, so the more explanation for me the better.
Thank you!!
