sinus infection
Dear sir,My son is 28 yrs old and is suffering from sinus infection on every change of season sometimes one to two months regularly . He
is 5 feet 9inches tall fair complexion and well built .
He is an engineer and extraordinary intelligent from his childhood.He is never satishfied from his present status ,wants to do some extraordanary feat . He is work alcoholic and talkative.
In early childhood he suffered from epilepsy and was given tegritol allopathic medicine for five yrs . Till now he is all right .
I being his father is also allergic to dust and smoke .
on the change of season .
He feels stuffed nose,sneezing with breathing problem and watery nasal discharge along with headache at every change of season. He feels better in open air and aggravation in the room /from warm .
I gave him alium cepa 200 c three doses and then started with Ars 30 4 hrly for one day . After seeing there is no improvement i gave him pulstilla 30 which showed some improvement and continued it for three days .I also gave him Carbovage 30 as he was feeling breathing problem in the night which relieved him temporarily . in addition to this he was administered natrum mure 30c as an intercurrent remedy . Now he is feeing well but coughs up occasionaly at the night or while sleeping . Can any body please guide me for complete cure and what constitutional remedy should be given so that it does not occour in future . GHANSHYAM49

As per ur advice i have given Nux vomica 30c for two days , but symptoms have not improved .
Hawking has increased in the afternoon with scanty mucus, more or less like allergy type symptoms . Please advise for further medication . Ghanshyam49

Please give him three doses of Hepar Sulph 30c at a gap of 4 hours for 2 days and see how he responds in the next 7 days.
You may also give him 2 pellets each of kali mur 6x, natrum sulph 6x and ferrum phos 6x thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for 5 days after giving Hepar Sulph for 2 days.
If there is no relief, please get answers to the following questions and come back after 7 days.
A homeo remedy is always selected on the basis of totality of symptoms. Please answer the following questions to help us know totality of your symptoms.
*Please describe your mental state like you are irritable, calm, worried, depressed, frustrated etc. How are your relations with your close relatives and friends?
*What do you think is the causative factor for your problems?
*Please describe your other physical symptoms like headache, backache etc.
*You prefer cold environment and open air or do you prefer warm surroundings.
*At what time of day you as an individual feel better and worse like better in the morning and worse at night.
*How is your sleep?
*How is sweat? It is less, more or normal? Where do you sweat more like in armpits, head etc.
*How is your thirst for water, cold drinks and hot drinks?
*Whether the complaints aggravate after movements or while taking rest.
*How is your bowel movement? Constipated, loose or normal. How is the digestion?
*Do you think that you are able to satisfy your sexual desires?

Dear sir,
It is to inform you that yet i have not given Phos 200c but it seems infection has been cured except coughing occassionaly once or twice in a day . In the morning there is sneezing and feels some thing in the throat such as hair sensation and draws breath inward like doing hoon hoon .
He is also suffering from hair fall problem and his hair has become thin also.Hair are falling excessively from the center of the head . Yet there is not complete baldness.
As i have already brought to ur kind notice that he has taken Tegretol in the childhood for five yrs for epilepsy treatment .
Should i give phos 200c first as suggested by your good self . Eager to listen from u With regards !

Please don't give him Phos 200. Please give him 4 pellets of Silcea 6x thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for 4-7 days and see how that affects.

Almost he is feeling well but sneezing after wake up and in the evening is there with the change in tempt making hoon hoon sound as he is clearing throat .
Any further advise from ur side ? I am thankful for the pain taken by u in diagonising the disease . Should any remedy (constitutiona) is required further !

The symptoms that you reported in response to my questions pointed to Phos. But later when you said 'and feels some thing in the throat such as hair sensation ' i suggested silicea.
i advise you to wait for 15 days now and let the things settle down. By the way i suggested silicea 6x not 30c.

Ref ur reply i have given Silicia 6x . Silicia 30c has been written as a slip of pen .
Would u suggest any remedy for hair fall . I think phos may work well for hair fall but i will wait for 15 dys and will report u and will give remedy as suggested by you .

Dear Dr Kadwa ji,
Fifteen days has passed , almost sinus is cured .It seems sometimes that he speaks from the nose and sneezes once or twice in a the whole day.
There is my homeo friend who advised to give one dose of Lachesis 200 c , but i will only give after hearing from you ?
Any advice ! Once again i am thankful to your goodself for curing sinus . Is there any constitutional remedy for sinus !

There is no constitutional remedy for a disease condition like sinus or anything else. A constitutional remedy is for the individual as a whole based on the totality of his symptoms. Please don't give him any remedy if his problems are minor. You may ask him to do Swami Ramdev's pranayam regularly.

Dear kadwa ji,
Throat infection has started again to day ,with irritation ( kharas)after about two months of time it started a immediately after eating pickle.
kindly suggest some remedy as it becomes worse and converts in to sinus infection after three or four days .
