Body heat

Hi there

Wanted to know if homeopathic medicines increase the heat of the body. My friend just took some medicines for a couple of days and she had broken lips/head ache and stuff like that. She just gave birth to a baby about a month ago. Could this have to do with the increased heat. What can she do to reduce the heat if the medicines cause them.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
it is impossible to say what remedies might or might not have done without any information about which remedy? how many doses? what condition were they taken for and for how long???? can you tell us this?

She has been taking

Arnica Montana for Muscle Soarness
Sulphur Iodatum for Nasal Discharge
and Antimonium Tartarnicum for cough, every 3 hours for may be around 2 days.

did she take all the remedies every 3 hours or just one of them?

ok - yeah this is a lot of rmedies to take together, but if they did cause any problems the effect would usually start to wear off once she stopped taking them. sulph iod could cause heat if taken in excess. the other symptoms i would have to look up. what potency did she take, as knowing this would be helpful.

Sepia 30c - just one or two doses would usually antidote the effect of taking too many different remedies at once. you will not have caused any real problems as the effects will wear off though. is there anything else going on with her health that might have caused these symptoms? also what were you trying to treat most - the muscles? a flu? let us know as we could suggest what to take

She had fever/cold /cough for more than a week.. More like a flu.

Like I said she just gave birth to a baby one month ago..

if she is breastfeeding does she have any pains or red areas in the breast? if not then can you describe the flu more for us - what kind of fever? what kind of cough - dry/rattly? night/day? anything make the cought worse or better?

the reason i ask about the breast area is that mastitis can cause flu like symptoms???
