8 week old baby with reflux

8 weeks old baby with severe reflux. can not sleep lying down. vomits up milk even two hours after eating. milk not breaking down into the digestive canal. crying in pain every hour and only sleeps an hour at a time.

Have you consulted your pediatrician and if so what is the diagnosis?

I believe that your baby is suffering from the beginning of GERD (Gastro Esophagal Reflux Disease) and the remedy that has helped many babies is Nat Phos 6x Biochemic Cell Salt which is given in his milk.

also forgot to mention that baby has thrush in her mouth since birth.. yes she has been seen by a doctor and relfux confirmed.

It is very likely that the Thrush diagnosed was due to the refluxed acid burning her mouth and causing all this distress which will hopefully be eliminated by the Nat Phos.

Thank you for advice. just to clarify is is half a tablet of Nat Phos 6x in each bottle or just one bottle one a day?

You can start your Baby on Nat Phos 6x with just a small piece of the tablet less than half dissolved in her feed and let us observe how she responds. It is just that she is only 8 weeks old that I have not advised the full half tablet. If she responds without the reflux that she has suffered for the last 8 weeks we can keep her on this dose or if necessary it can be increased to half tablet.

The idea is to give the smallest portion of the remedy which is just enough to help her to overcome her GERD.
