The ABC Homeopathy Forum

bo c

Hello. I'm a newbie here & also a new student to homeopathy. I have a question, more for curiosity's sake than anything else, because I haven't been able to find any information on this anywhere.

I am currently under the care of a homeopath who prescribed for me a substance called Bo-C, which I am using because that is what I was told to use. No problems with that, nor am I looking for any other remedy.

However, I would be very interested to know what the remedy & it's indications are, as I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'd be interested to know what it's properties and antidotes are, as well as what is & isn't helpful or useful to use while taking this remedy.

I've asked my homeopath, but we always seem to get sidetracked by something else before the answer is forthcoming. So I'm trying to find the info elswhere. -Anyone know?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I cannot find any reference or record to a remedy whose short code is 'Bo-c'.

It could be a very new remedy, although Helios pharmacy has no record of this code either.

Is it a combination by any chance?

Is your homoeopath a Sensation prescriber or a more traditional practitioner (if you know what this difference means)?

The homeopath probably just shortened the initials. But we won't be able to figure what it is.

She does claim to be a 'Classical' homeopath, if that is what you're asking about her approach to treatment, but that is as much as I can tell you. I am truly brand-new to this field.
She has put me on this rem. & to be perfectly honest, I have not reported in as I should have because I work and because it is difficult for me to speak freely. My husband is dead-set against all natural means of treatments. (He calls me the 'witch-doctor') However, I have raised a family of 7 children to be reasonably healthy adults, by means of natural remedies. None are prone to run to medical doctors before finding a simpler, natural means first.

-It is entirely possible that it could be a combination. She does have a few in her Family Kit.

I thought she might, perhaps be proofing it, but cannot say for sure.

Most of the time she is very open & easy to talk to. She gives very clear & plain answers to just about any question. But for some reason, this one never seems to get answered, & I have seen many acute aggravations popping up. -So naturally, I thought to get the opinions of others as well. It was worth a try. Thanks for your input.

BTW: This is an awesome site.

I doubt it's a combination.

I've seen homeopaths who just use the one or two letter initials L for lycopodium, etc. for simplicity. If you really want to find out the name, you'll have to talk to that homeopath.

There's a possibility that this remedy is Boa constrictor adipis or in short Boa-c. Please confirm with your homeopath.
