Nawaz Khan:

I am thankful for your post and giving the advise. I appreciate your efforts and time you've extended for the benefits of patients. Please keep up the good work.

Joaniekins:

How are you feeling now. If you feeling good, no need to repeat the medicine, otherwise please take Nux V 30 single dose only.

In the meanwhile please procure calc 200 and Arum triphyllum 200.

regards,

I just want you know how sincerely grateful I am for your help. Peace to you.

I meant to say 'shipping' costs

Joaniekins last decade
I really appologize for not taking into account the shipping costs you are paying for the medicine. For the time being I do not foresee any further remedy except the two mentioned earlier.

Please wait another two days. In the meanwhile, please update me, what you are thinking exactly at the time you are biting your lips. Also please give more details on the sweating.

When I am biting my lip - i am not thinking anything. It's a distraction and I'm nervous. I don't know what I am nervous about. If I imagine someone watching me - they would think I'm scared, or insecure or not aware of my surroundings. The night sweats are intense and I sweat from my cheeks to my legs. Usually my entire stomach is soaking wet. I often have to change pajamas in the middle of the night. I'm really a mess..... I don't think there is really any remedy to help. But I really appreciate your advice - and I am trying.

joaniekins.

As long as you take this allopathic medicine Ambien, it will be very difficult to find the right homeopathic remedy for you. Another thing is that this drug acts as an antidote to homeopathy. Can also be the cause of your night sweats. Symptoms caused by this medication can fool homeopath to choose the wrong remedy.

I suggested earlier remedy Ignatia Amara, these are remedies you should start with. That being said, on the basis of old materia medica such Boerick, that this is not true, I will say that one should use the more recent literature. I use Materia Medica Viva, written by George Vithoulkas, who is very good. And I see clear signs of Ignatia is in the picture here.

But this sleep medication must be removed first.

Sincerely; Parakletos. Practitioner of classical homeopathy

I don't know what to do. If I quit taking ambien, I am fearful that I will not sleep at all. Can I gently wean myself off of it? Or stop all together??

Dear Joan.
You say you have problem with sleep, and use medications for this problem. Why do you have sleep problems, if this medicine is so good?
Do not mean to attack you in any way, but such medications are not good. They make a kind of addiction, like drugs. But these drugs cure nothing, the problem is the same.
Do you really need hjep, stop with this horrible medicine. When this drug is out of your body, can we / I help with homeopathy. And then you get really good help.

I understand; Parakletos

When I take ambien,I do not have trouble sleeping. I take ambien because I have had sleeping problems for 25 years. I tried herbs, acupuncture, chiropractic, meditation, yoga, exercise, calms forte, chamomile, valerian root. EVERYTHING. I am well aware of the fact that when I took ambien I was 'crossing a line' and I did it with trepidation. I can sleep when I take it..... So I ask, is sleep the most important thing? What is your opinion?

Joaniekins last decade
Mani Jee, please advise regarding posts by Parakletos. I am not sure how to proceed.....

Joaniekins last decade
Thank you to you all for the time and energy that went into helping me. I wish you all well.

Joaniekins last decade
I have successfully taken myself off Ambien - sleeping well for 4 nights without it.

Joaniekins last decade
Have you really done it? Well done! :-)
Now you should wait a while, and notice if there are any new symptoms. Or if any of them disappear, for example, sweating at night.
Drink lots of water so that you cleaned out these chemical substances.

Please contact me again in a few days.
Regards, Parakletos

Dear Joaniekins:

First of all, I am really sorry for the very late reply. Please tell me how are you feeling these days? Are you taking some medication?

Regarding the perspiration, I would like you to confirm the following statement:

'This is a profuse perspiration all over the body, drenching the bedclothes. They may have to get up during the night to change their night clothes. This is not a particularly offensive perspiration, and it may not be accompanied by fever.'

and further please let me know, how about the pet animals like cats or dogs?

Do you get colds very frequently?

Regards,

Mani ji, i received your message and i thank you for taking the time. yes, i have the night sweats as described and i also like cats. however, i believe at This time that there really is no remedy that can help me. i think there are too many complicating factors. all of which seem either too much to explain in a publicly posted message or too personal. but i am grateful ans if you believe there is a remedy i coudl try, i certainly will try it. with regards, j
