hi , im 23yrs old male, i am about 80 kg and my height is 180 cm, i ahve been suffering from pilonidal cyst for 5 years now. it started with a scratch on my butt crack and i dont know why it happened,i didnt go to see a doctor, then the wound didn heal until it finally healed, after a few months of comfort i felt a bump on my midline while sitting and it started bleeding, then it continued bleeding for a year or so and then i saw a doctor, doctor said i need a surgery, i refused to do so but after a year i got fooled and i accepted the opeartion, 13 sept 2010, excision followed by secondary healing,(vac).the vac was changed every 2 days 3 times per week., mon, wed, fri. after a month the wound was small enough to remove vac and put normal gauze on it, but it never healed, 7 months after the first operation my wound got badly infected and i visited the surgeon, he said you need another operation because there is signs of another abcess, i waited, and i finally accepted to do the second operation on july 6 2011. i had a huge wound 16cm length, 5 cm wide, vac was intalled, excessive bleeding, wound got infected, had to get hospitalized for a week, doctor gave me antibiotics since the wound was badly infected, after that vac was installed until wound got small in size, wound wen through alot of problems, mainly hypergranulation, doctor burned it with silver nitrate and then applied triad cream which didnt help at all, and then until now im applying inadine systagenix on my wound, wound is not healing, i cant afford another operation, my life has turned in to hell, i cant take it anymore, i need this wound losed as soon as possible, i am not exercising, i am not working, only studying at college. please help me.

age 23, male, single, 80 kg, 180 cm, afghanistan, currently live in canada, climate in my area is cold winter and not very hot summer, my complaint is my sinus pilonidal, i have been suffering for 4years now.
i am non diabetic, no specific desire, i drink water about 4 to 5 glassses as needed may be more. no special taste, my bp is normal, i dont have the machine to check my bp, but i can sense that it is normal.
my sinus pilonidal got operated twice, and the wound doesnt close and i cant do exercises like jogging, weighlifting and etc. i am very sad.
sinus pilonidal has ruined my life, thats what i can say.
when i see other young men exercising, walking without any pain in the ass i feel horrible to myself.
my family background, we are afghans, as far as i know no one in my family has suffered from pilonidal sinus except for me.
i am a college student and i want to proceed with my studies.

i eat almost any food, vegetable, meat, fruits.
i dont know which food increases my problem.
i get angry sometimes when things are bad but its life.

right now the midline of my butt crack is bleeding even a little bit below close to anus is bleeding. i feel a little bit of pain in my anus while going to toilet and while touching it. i havent seen blood in my stool.

for now there is no pus, no smell, just blood, this morning i visited my surgeon he checked the wound and he said that the tissue hasnt heal from inside, therefore it has to get reoperated. i dont know what to do, i have no choie but to do another operation.

Operation is never the best option as it will come back.
