menopause

I am 52 years old. I am in menopause since I was 48. My problems are the hot flashes and painful sexual intercourse. Hot flashes were really bad at the beginning, now they are much better, but I still have them with sweating, and also during the night. I am married, and my dyspareunia (pain, dryness) worries me. Before the menopause, I had no pain, no problems. I have tried a subblement based on Black Kohosh, and I felt wonderful, especially it had a very calming effect. I then stopped for many months, but since the hot flashes had returned, I took the Black Kohosh supplement again. This time my hot flashes worsened and I got terrible nervousness. I then tried Red Clover supplements, homeopathic complex remedies (I think I cannot name the brands in the forum), I tried to drink a lot of soy milk, but nothing helped, only a worsening of the situation.I have never tried a soy supplement. The only thing that worked was an estrogen vaginal cream, but the effect lasted only for the period I have used it, and not of course for the hot flashes. My blood tests report estradiol extremely low even for postmenopausal woman. Can you help me with a remedy? Thank you very much in advance.

Madam, I suggest you to take LACHASIS 30c & NUX VOMICA 30c alternately two times each in a day with a gap of about 4 hours for a week & Please do not forget to report on the forum what ever is the result.Subsequent dose adjustment will depend ONLY upon your report of any improvement or otherwise.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Can you please explain what kind of remedy should I take and how? Pellets or single doses?
Should I start the day, for example, with some pellets of Lachesis 30c (how many?) under the tongue, and then after 4 hours Nux Vomica 30c, and then again after 4 hours Lachesis and then Nuw Vomica and it's finished for the day?
Should I have side effects from taking these remedies, as I fear a lot worsening, as I suffered more than 10 years of panick attacks and anxiety from a sudden deafness of one of my ear, still deaf there. Thank you very much for your kind help.

Yes, you may take in pills form 5 pills per dose & the way you have said is the right timing & medicines.
I do not expect any side adverse effect so you need not be worried on that count. Have faith & start the treatment.Good luck!

Hello Daktersaab,
I have taken the 2 remedies as prescribed. During that week hot flashes and sweating were a little less frequent and milder. As regards the dyspareunia, no change. I was really happy because my nervousness and irritability had disappeared. Three days after the end of the cure, hot flashes and sweating have come back (not so strong and frequest as in the beginning of my menopause some years ago), but I still feel calm, even though sometimes I have bouts of irritability and anger. What are your suggestions? Many thanks in advance.

Hello darma,
I am satisfied to note your progress.
Now I suggest you to take the same medicines just one dose of each daily. Lachsis 30c in morning & Nux.Vomica 30c at bedtime. for 10 days & then please let us know about your further progress.
I thank you for your timely feedback & wish you a fast recovery.

Hello Daktersaab,
10 days wih Lachesis and Nux Vomica have passed. Towards the end of that period the frequency of hot flashes has worsened, and the dyspareunia is still the same. I feel hot in my head first (ears turn red) and the body immediately after. I sweat a lot in my face and all over. The tenth day I was extremely nervous and irritable, as I had drunk ten coffees (and I don't drink coffee or alcohol). I react with exagerated nervousness or anger to normal or minimal life adversities, and I feel very tense and tired (sometimes I tremble, and I cannot control my shiverings). I suffer very often from tachycardia, when I go to bed in the night and lay down.
15 years ago I had an acute infectious sinusitis in the right part of my nose, with yellow and fetid discharge, with consequent infection to a tooth in the right part of my mouth, I took antibiotics, but since then I suffer twice or three times a year from this ailment ( no headhace, just yellow discharge and stuffed nose for days). With your cure I had yellowish discharge twice, and I succeeded in blowing my nose to free it.
What is your opinion about my situation.
Many thanks.

You may think of Amyl Nitricum

But it is your decision. Do not take otherwise

what my experince says is sanguinaria 30 twice a day will surely help in hot flushes. 6 pills twice a day...

As lachesis 30 helped you, you may take 3 doses of Lachesis 200 at a gap of 12 hours and see how it goes in next 10-15 days.
Sanguinaria 200, Sepia 200, Sulphur 200 may also work and may be considered later.
