Herbal remedies for panick and anxiety attacks

Hi
5 months ago I collapsed at work and have suffered from Extreme panick attacks and anxiety, i am now housebound due to the overall terror of the outdoors and the amount of attacks I have daily, i have tried numerous perscription drugs but hate the side effects, paid for private CBT therapy and thought field therapy as well as Hypnotherapy. I feel that nothing works would homeopathic medicine help? I have heard that Gelsemium and Aconitum nap are effective and have no side effects. does anyone have any hope for me or advise. thankyou

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Normally there is an originating cause for your condition.
It may be medication,

vaccination,

emotional trauma ,

or just stress.

It could happen at any time in the past 6 to 18 months.

Homeopathy CAN help but not without a great deal of personal information.

I am away from 10 - 28th june.

You addressed the thread as "herbal remedies." While I can't recommend any homeopathics based on the brief information you gave, I have had wonderful success lately with a product called "SEROCTIN." A colleague of mine clued me in to it. It is made from corn (so if you have a corn allergy I guess you can't take it.) SEROCTIN naturally raises serotonin levels and allows for the smoother rise of melatonin at night, thus aiding deeper more restful sleep. As always, I was a bit suspicious of the product as I've tried numerous products on patients with little or short-lived help. (5HTP comes to mind). But honestly, I have put four people on this capsule who all share varying degrees of anxiety, OCD, low self-confidence, job performance problems, high stress, panic attacks and ADD. Each one in his or her own way is benefitting. Some found it worked after the second dose. Others needed a full 10 days on it. The suggested dose is 3 capsules in the morning and 3 capsules in the afternoon. However, I've got most people doing three capsules in the morning and 2 in the afternoon or at dinnertime. I have not taken the product myself as I don't have any of the issues it is said to help so I cannot personally vouch for its effectiveness. All I can say is I have been able to help patients who were not getting help with an array of herbal remedies until now. There are only two places to get the product in the US (I don't know where you are located.) Try this website: www.suvida dot com They are located in Utah.

It looks like you had the same repeating problem with the Forum monsters that I did! Hmmmm.

As I've said to my patients again and again, we underestimate the power of stress in our lives. Stats show that 70% of office visits to allopathic docs are stress-related. You say you have an "out of control child" and "a very hard job." So, my feeling is your life is going to continue down this ragged road until YOU step in and make the changes. If you don't, trust me, LIFE will step in for you and make those changes. In other words, you might become so debilitated that you simply cannot function anymore. But the "out of control" kid is still there in front of you being out of control. I tell my patients this all the time! If you don't want LIFE to make the move on you, make the move on yourself and enact the necessary changes NOW. If the job is "very hard," find another job. Your child is out of control? Is he/she autistic? Is there a known mental/physical reason for the behavior? Is he/she just out of control because of his environment? How old is he/she? What kind of support do you have in taking care of this child? If his/her problems are caused by diet or drugs, get him/her onto a more nutritious diet and off the drugs. There are numerous ideas we all have who frequent the ABC Forum (Sabra, Passkey and many more) to help you with your "out of control" kid. Do give the Seroctin a try. I truly mean it when I say that it has helped to transform the people's lives who I have recommended it to. It's not expensive. It's less than $20.00 a bottle. It is not the ONLY thing you should consider. Homeopathy will address the core issue. But I believe in utilizing all natural remedies that act to support the entire person (diet, reduction of stress, herbs, some vitamins, homeopathy, aromatherapy if indicated, vibrational elixirs and so on.) Be well and take care of yourself.

I am getting strange "WARNINGS" when I attempt to post my answer. Stuff like "Cannot modify header information...." and other garbage. However, even though this comes up, my post still appeared. So to make sure your post is there, hit the "I agree to the Forum Rules" button and then refresh the page where the questions and answers are posted. You should see your post at the end like usual. Then just exit the Forum Reply box.

I used to suffer from these as well and I took klonipin which was terrible to go off of do to withdrawal...
However, several years later I was dx with a thyroid condition called hashimotos...I am now underactive, but thoughts are at the time of panic I was severly overactive....have you also lost a lot of weight or noticed anything else? you may want to get your thyroid checked and some things that helped me get through an attack where self hypnosis tapes/cd, and alternate side nostril breathing is very relaxing and calming....I feel for you because they were horrifying and I was housebound for about 6 months until I realized I was not going crazy...hang in there and find a good homeopathic professional...if you can get out of the house acupuncture may help as well...do you live in NJ? if so I can recommend both of the above as well as a good CBT
