help needed > 4 month old had ear infection down with fever again after 10 days
My daughter seems to have a chronic ear infection tendency. She had her first ear infection at 6 weeks , no fever only white discharge with bad smell, sinarest and candibiotic ear drops for 2 days had resolved the problem2nd ear infection at 4 months old ( 10 days back) after 3 days of cold. Our family homeopathy doctor advised belledonna, recovered in 12 hours and fever slowly subsided sysmptoms of pain were gone.
Now after 10 days ( since yesterday) she again has fever ( 101 deg F - arm)and this time its not very evident what has caused it gave belledonna 30 - about 6 times through the night fever did not subside, gave her paracetamol in the morning, family doctor suggested i give aconite 30 for a day. Current symptoms are > wants to be held all the time, upright position is preferred after every bout of crying, is crying for 20 min after every 1- 1.5 hrs of sleep, passing lot of gas after feeds and crys as if in pain everytime she passes gas, settles after 20 minutes and goes to sleep, was sneezing in the morning, no discharge form ear
any idea what may have caused the fever. also what medication should i give for the long run because ear infectiomn seems to be a recurring problem for her
