Golden retriever with epilepsy

I saw some topics like these, hope someone can help. I have a 3,5 y o female golden retriever that's having fits for like year and a half. Usually once a month. There is no case of spilepsy in her parents. She had babies this year and since then for like 2 months she was ok. recently fits occured again. We have only treated her with Beneurin, which is like b vitamin complex. she is friendly, very sensitive about noise and especially fireworks and thunders. I have noticed that some days before the fit her eyes go redish and she scratches her years on the inside, dont know if it's important. So if someone can help I am here to answer any questions. Thanks in advance :)

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi Natasha,

you can go to veterinaryhomeopathyconsultants.com
A free forum with vets to help

I was stunned to find out that 1/3 of epilepsy is
from worms. I had a golden die from the epilepsy
and they never checked for worms or mentioned
worms at the vet.

I also read another dog case ( cannot remember where-but was similar and also due to worms. )

I hope all goes well, wish I had this info when
my dog was ill.

Thank you both for your response.
Simone717, I am so sorry for your golden, it's such a pity to think you can't do anything to help your dog :( I have taken her yo like 3-4 vets and they were all like :'just get another dog, she isnt gonna make it'. But I still believe I can help her anyway :)
varun, thank you for the remedy, may be I will try that. I was once adviced to give her Silicea every day. There was no result though so I gave it up.

Thank you once more :)

Regards,
Natasha

Natasha,

If you go on the homeopathy vets site
and get advice, and especially any
advice about the worms, I would like
you to put that on here? They are
homeopathic trained vets and I would
think their advice would be good.

Good luck- I did what you are doing and I think with that other site you
can solve this.. My dog was on all the
heart worm etc stuff, but I wonder if
checking the stool they would find
another type of worm or parasite?

Varun,
worms are not this for that-
they would be part of the entire picture
if that was found to be there.

I was interested bc of the other case
of a dog that was given all wrong
remedies and finally healed of epilepsy
when the worm part was added into the
picture.

Common sense to get advice from
vets that are specialized in
homeopathy-and have done the training and the advice is also free.
If my dog was DYING i would want
to get ALLadvice as soon as possible.
Are you an expert on animals Varun?
you say _ you aren't into treating pets-
so your advice would not be top tier
in this situation vs a real homeopathic
Vet- whose career is nothing but pets and has cured cases of epilepsy in
their practice.

Simone717, I have posted in that forum, havent received an answer yet. I have posted in many forums and written to many vets and homeopaths but unfortunately very few of them ever respond and it was like 'you should bring her here' although we may live in another country. Havent heard about worms as a reason. Anything is possible though. I just hope for the best.
Varun, I couldnt seem to find so high potency so I ordered it, I think by the end of the next week I will have it. I am not familiar with the 'treating system', just some people say I should give this every day and some just once a month I believe it depends on the disease. Thank you for the advice, I will tell about the result.
Best wishes both :)

Natasha,
thanks for feedback on that site, I send
people over there to ask questions,
but I have no idea what happens after
that.

don't know what country you are in?
But another site is Dr.Pitcairn.com
and click on referrals of homeopathic
vets-most in USA, but some in Canada,
and one in UK.

I know how hard this is, having been
thru it. If you ever want to talk to me
you can click my name and see my email.

with prayers for you and your pet.

Take my suggestion as a second opinion. When you have exhausted other options and still need help, please give her Sulphur 200c one dose. Report changes in a fortnight after the dose.

Simone, I understand how you feel about your dog - it is really traumatic to watch them suffering knowing you cannot do anything. I was told that in America dogs with epilepsy are put to sleep because it is very hard for the owners and there's no cure. I rejected that as an option. There's got to be a way around it.
I read about a dog with epilepsy that was treated with Belladonna, everyday for like a year. Then they stopped giving it and the dog had a massive fit..lethal.
Thanks for the opinion Maheeru, I will order that too.

Yes Natasha,
I stuck it out, with allopathy bc I did not know about homeopathy
for animals at that point. Eventually, one fit too many.( the belladonna in that other
case was probably just palliating and not curing, in other words not right remedy
and working like an allopathic suppressant of symptoms)

This abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/348745 is on the forum
today.I think this was a Kadwa prescription-Amazing.
