Need help with hypothyroid
I am 37 years old male living in US. I have been diagnosed recently with hypothyroidism. my TSH was around 9.5. The only symptom I had was gaining weight even though I was not having high calorie food. I have another health problem may not be related to inactive thyroid gland is -- I have pain in my joint (mainly in knee, shoulder, and wrist) I have gone through various checks for my joint pains but nothing could be diagnosed. I am not sure if it is related with thyroid. If you can suggest anything for my thyroid, would be appreciative. I am taking currently Lovothyroxin 50MCG everyday on empty stomach.
