Gelsemium

Hello,

So my question is, have I read correctly that when gelsemium is useful all symptoms are relieved by alcohol - if my symptoms are relieved by alcohol, should I be trying gelsemium to cure them?

Best wishes

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You made a point.

Mind; alcohol, alcoholic drinks; amel.: dysp gels irid lut olnd thul-o

But there may be other critical symptoms that you are overlooking.

In John Henry Clarkes Dictionary of Practical Materia Medica he states ' alcoholic stimulants relieve all complaints were gelsemium is useful'

i think that Natrum Mur or Staphysagria will be more appropriate in your case.

Hi Dr Kadwa,

I've been taking staphysagria as it was suspected my urethra had possibly dilated. The only improvement so far, has been with the pulsatilla...

I've had nat mur twice for disappointment after surgery - both times it had to be antidoted.

I'll post any updates as and when they happen.

Best wishes
