ear ache please advise
hello..for the past three days i have had a very bad headache and the back of my neck has been very sore and stiff. the head ache and stiffness has been constant. i get very hot and then chilly...if i have fever at all it is very low grade. i thought that i was getting the flu.
this morning i woke up and i have a very bad ear ache in my right ear. it hurts to even touch my ear and the inside of my ear feels very swollen. the whole right side of my face hurts very much. it feels as if my head is very congested and stuffy but i do not have a runny nose. i still have a very bad head ache and the back and sides of my neck are still very sore and stiff.
i have had periodic ear and sinus trouble in the past that were always treated with anibiotics...which i always felt kept making the problem worse. i have not taken an antibiotic for two years and i do not wish to now.
could someone please advise a remedy?

belladonna 30c will help if the ear and face pain is tense, hot and throbbing.

take one dose - if it helps, even only a little, then repeat another dose half an hour later. Again if this helps further then repeat again half an hour later.
after this take less frequently = this means only take another dose when the healing effect of the previous dose has worn off ( this could be hours later or an hour later or the next day or not at all).
As soon as things are a lot better stop taking and only start again if really needed.
This last point is important - STOP when a lot better......particularly with this remedy....
If it should be that there is no improvement after the first 2-3 doses then stop taking and come back for advice on another remedy....
let us know how you get on...:)

thank you so very much for your insight and outlined advice. i believe so much in the healing affects of homeopathy but i know that i do not hold the knowledge of potencies or how often the different remedies should be taken. thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and insight with me and i shall let you know what happens after the the instruced dosages.

It occurred to me last night to ask you if you have any problems with teeth on that side of your mouth, mostly back teeth or wisdom teeth??

improvement is amazing..though it is still a little sore..it no longer feels swollen and throbbing...and i do not have the three day headache anymore!
the right side of my neck is still quite sore and stiff but i actually feel so much better than i did yesterday...thank you so much!
my teeth are not bothering me really (i do not have my wisdom teeth..i had them removed while in college)but my jaws have been very sore and stiff especially on the right side.
i suppose i shall take another dose a couple of times today?
