Eczema for my baby boy since 3rd month

Hi,

My son is suffering from severe itching, eczema and rash since 3rd month.

Here is the case history :
1. Viral fever attack to mother in his 3rd month
2. He too got viral fever and got some homeo medicine (dont know which one)
3. Viral fever reduced but little rosy rash appeared on his cheeks
4. In 5th month, to reduce rash a doctor here prescribed the following :
a. chamomilla 200 for one week --> no use
b. malindrinum 200 for one week --> no use
c. hepar sulph 200 for one week --> rash aggravated, and appeared all over the body
d. thuja 200 --> for one week --> no use

My uncle ( he studied homeo but he is not in our place ) heard the story and suggested sulphur 200 ( one dose in a month) along with daily use of graphites 200

I have been using the same for last three months, initially it looked like it is working but i dont think it really worked.

Day by day condition is getting worse, and itching during night is very severe.

He scratches until skin comes out and bleeds. It is just torture every day and night to watch him scratching all over his body.

Two things I am sure here :
1. Rash appeared all over body after giving Hepar Sulph ( he is still sensitive to that )
2. Rash is all over body, itching is throughout the day, but worst after midnight.
Mainly legs --> rash appears as if it is some red patch added to skin on legs.

His character :
---------------
1. Sensitive
2. He is ultra sensitive to sounds, if something drops in kitchen, he starts crying in living room
3. No body should shout, he cries immediately
4. Very sensitive to sounds during sleep, no body should even talk while he is sleeping.
5. Highly interrupted sleep due to severe itching.

I really need a medicine to stop itching, and I am ok with rash with itching.

Please, please advice.

I am not able to find a real good homeo doctor in my place.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

I shall copy below my default therapy for Eczema which has helped the lesions of many chronic cases to dry up in a few days.

The remedy for your Baby's Eczema is Arnica 6c in the Wet dose which is made up as follows:

Order the remedy in the Liquid Dilution in Alcohol in a bottle with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake it hard to produce bubbles. This is homeopathic succussion and must be done every time before a capful of the bottle which is the dose is taken as directed.

Give him a capful of the remedy water twice daily and also apply the water on his lesions as often as possible.

You should observe some improvement in his condition on about the third day into this therapy.

Please report your response on the third day.

It is understood that you will not take any other drug while using the Arnica therapy.

1. Urtica Urence-Q 3 drops twice a day in one teaspoon water
2. Rhus Tox-200 6 pills at bed time every day.

Pl give the treatment for one week and then give me feed back
Pl stop Sulphur, Hepar Sulph, Graphitis,Thuja etc etc.

Hello shouse_nsk,

I used uritica urens Q and rhustox 200.

But I did a mistake while using it, and I take entire blame for it.

I gave 3 doses of UUQ(3 drops in a spoon of water) morning, evening and next day morning. Then I stopped as I had to go out of station.

rhustox 200, I continued every night since 3 days.

I think this improved overall rash & violent itching (severe itching reduced to normal itching, but is still there).

Overall skin condition is also improved.

Now the problem is since I stopped giving UUQ after 3 doses, should I start again ? or should I wait, as symptoms are improving.

This is really my mistake.

Appreciate your great help.

Hi Tamhankar,

I used UUQ 3 drops in a spoon water daily twice for one week.
Along with that I also gave Rhustox 200 every night.

Initially itching reduced for some time. Rash appearance also changed ( from redish swell to small red spots ) mainly on face & legs

But after two or three days again itching started.

Currently on an average, totally rash and itch reduced by say 30% ( He is still scratching till blood comes out, but is not as violent as before )

May you please advice what to do next ?

Pl stop all the medicines for one week and again start it.
I think, there could be some aggravation. Let it be subside and again we will start those medicine or may think to change one of the current medicines.
If you say itching is worse after mid night, we may think of Arsenic Alb-200. But let us wait for one week. Let the aggravation subside.

Ok. I will stop giving all the medicines.

I forgot to mention about the skin condition.
All the patches are now dry, white, powdery ( if I rub on the patches, white powder falls )

Yesterday, I stopped giving medicine, and itching was worse last night, he scratched again till it bleeds.

Itching is all over day and night. No specific times, however, since it is sleeping time, i think we see it as worse during midnights.

White patches are little bit better now.

But itching is back to worse as it was initially there.

Overall, skin condition is slightly better, and no improvement in itching.

(only one day gap)
Then again start regular treatment of Rhus Tox and Urtica Urence

Pl give feedback after 3-4 days

Ok. Thank you for kind suggestion.

I will give psor 200 and give gap for regular treatment.

I may need some time before getting psor 1M.

I just want to give more information on skin condition :

Skin condition is better only for those white patches. Other areas (reddish on legs especially) are still the same.

Itching is much worse on white patch (now white powder stopped falling but itching is very high on that part) on right hand.

This medicine is in addition to Rhus Tox and Urertice urence. Those you continue as it is.

Pl procure Psorinum-1m and inform me.
Skin disease will take some time to cure. You need to wait for some time. Do not apply any cream on the affected area.

Ok I will give him Kalimur-12x.
Is this biochemic or normal homeo medicine ?
Today I gave him psor 200. I will start regular course from tomorrow.
Should I stop the regular course after a week OR should I continue ?

Today I will get both medicines kalimur 12x and Psor 1M.

Kali Mur-12x is a Bio-Chem medicine
After Pesorinum dose you should stop only for one day and then again start regular course of medicines.

Hi Tamhankar,

I got psorinum 1M.

I started using UUQ 200 along with Kalimur 12X, and nights Rhustox 200 one dose.

After giving second dose of psor 200, for one day itching condition was better, but it slowly came back with full intensity.

I am not sure if the regular course is improving the itching condition or not. He keeps scratching day and night.

Itching is highest in midnight 12 o clock. He is not sleeping till we see the blood coming out. Scratching is not reducing the itch. So he keeps doing that.

Would you kindly let me know how many days should I continue the regular course ?

I forgot to mention one more thing in case it helps.

Last night, during sleep, he woke up and started crying and scratching.

We stopped him and we started scratching for him. As long as we rub he slept. As and when we stopped he woke up.

This was around 12 to 1 PM midnight.

As the aggravation is at mid night from 12 to 2, I would like to suggest you that
in place of Rhus Tox-200, give him Arsenic Album-200
Other things are to be continued as it is.
