Can you recollect and tell me does the pain increase or decrease with each of the following:

- After a bit of physical movement from rest.

-After a bit of rest.

-Decreased temperature of surroundings.

-Hot fomentation locally.

-Cold application locally.

- Rubbing the affected part.

- Washing the affected part.

- Hard pressure on affected part.

Is there any specific periodicity of gout attack?

Did you notice any relationship of your sufferings with lunar changes?

In general, do you like hot or cold weather?

Do you feel restless at night due to pain?

I don't understand if your pain increases or decreases with the changes.

You must write 'Decreases' OR 'Increases' against each of the changes so that I don't misunderstand your answers.

From your answers like YES and NO, Iam not able to conclude anything.

I've heard from a few people that they use some natural product called Reesai and that it works quite good for them. Anyone has any experience with that?

Hi all,

Sorry to interfere in your thread. Just an experience i wish to share.
One of my close friend was suffering from high uric acid. And upon consuming a small bowl of cherries (approx 200 to 250 gms) daily the uric acid came down and the pain went away.
I think it has no harm to use cherries after consulting your dr. along taking the remedies.

Please note I do not have any proven theory about this but just a personal experience.

Wishing you all the best.

You did not answer the first question.

What happens when you begin to move? Like when you get up from the sitting posture and begin to walk.

Also,

Does the pain decrease after a bit of movement? Comparitively, does the pain subside when you have walked a few meters?

You wrote the medicines you are taking on a regular basis are not helping you a bit. So, please stop it for the time being, atleast till you are under this treatment.

If you keep on taking the medicines, homeopathic treatment will not help. So, stop all medicines and wait for a week before you start the treatment.

Also, you must avoid taking meat and other protein rich food. During this treatment, you must not have coffee, mint, raw onion or garlic and wear any strong aromatic deos.

Your remedy is LYCOPODIUM 200C. Start the treatment when you have the next attack of gout.

Take one dose everyday first thing in the morning for some days till you have the acute gout attack. But in any case, stop the remedy after a week.

One dose is 3 drops of LYCOPODIUM 200C in some 10 ml of water taken early in the morning in empty stomach and clean mouth. After taking the dose, please go back to sleep for another hour. Try not to have any food or water immediately after getting up. The point is, the more time you give to the remedy to get absorbed, the better it will work.

Come back after one month to report the intensity and timing of the next gout attack. If you notice there is a decrease in your pain or frequency of attack, you know you got the right remedy.

Best wishes.

Dear doctor
Thanks a lot for the advice and medicine. Since 2 days the pain was very acute and intense and could not even walk. This morning I went and saw a homeopath. He put me on Rhustox 1 M one dose and then actea racemosa 30c for 15 days. I could not wait any longer and in Australia it is hard to find a homeo Doc. Any way I found one now.
Extremely sorry for the inconvence caused.. However I will keep in touch and let you informed my progress.
Once again a BIG Thank Q
Xavier

I didn't recommend Rhus Tox because few of your modalities, like ( worse in general from warmth, worse on local hot application and worse on rubbing) are just opposite to Rhus Tox.

In all these cases, Rhus Tox patient feels better.

I don't know if despite all these contradictions, rhus will work or not. Since it is a 20 year old chronic case, Lycopodium is a more suitable.

Did you mention your kidney stone problem to your homeopath? If you include these symptoms, your overall disease picture shifts to lycopodium.

You can try what your homeopath suggest. In case you don't get full cure, you may take lycopodium.
